Hello Pisces,

Thanks for posting your question here, I apologies for the delay in responding back to you!

In regards to the error you are experiencing. Did you allow authorization for our app to access your photos when you initially installed the app?

Can you please open our app -> tap on settings ( gear icon ) -> Allowed Devices -> and check to ensure you've allowed our app authorization to access your photos.

Please let me know if this helps!

Best,

Amber

Hello Ryan,

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help you with our app!

I would like to recommend that you please close out our app, launch your photos app first and then launch our app and please try to discover your devices. Sometimes it just takes a few attempts to discover your device ( despite the error, to which we are working on updating ).

Please let me know if this helps or if you have any other issues!

Hello Cathy,

My apologies for the delay in response! Thank you for posting your question here, I will be happy to assist you.

Are you using our desktop app for Mac? Or the web browser? If you are using our desktop app, after you install it, you should be able to double click on the app and then from there it should launch. Then after that you can double click on "discover devices". Which it seems like you where able to get to this point. At the bottom there is an "upload to albums" button. This allows you to upload your photos from your Mac ( Not from iPhoto ) to your iPad.

Here is our walk through transferring from Mac to iPad using our desktop app: http://phototransferapp.com/help/mac/...

and here is our walk through when using the web browser: http://phototransferapp.com/help/ipad...

When using the web browser, after you discover your devices and you choose receive on your iPad, and enter in the IP address our app gives you, then you should be able to then choose what album you want to transfer your photos too and then be able to choose your photos from your Mac to then transfer.

Please let me know if these walk throughs help you!

Amber

Hello Gilda,

Thank you for sending us your question here, I am sorry for the long delay in response!

I would recommend that you please turn off / on your wifi router and then try to reconnect. Sometimes it takes a few attempts to connect to your wifi network. Also make sure that you are as close to your wifi router as possible. Are you on a home wifi network or a public network?

Please let me know the above also, if the suggestion worked!

Hello Ken,

My apologies for the confusion! The "edit" button is in the Photos App on your iPad. Not on the desktop app.

So if you open up your Photos App, tap on "Edit" at the top right hand corner, this will allow you to remove / edit / add albums and / or delete photos within an album. There should be a little "x" that appears over albums allowing you to delete albums, and if you open an album and tap on a photo, it will allow you to delete it.

Please let me know if this helps or if you continue to experience any more issues!

Best,

Amber
Hello,

Our app cannot remove anything from your device, so if you want to delete photos off your device, you have to do so via the "Photo's App".

I had responded to your thread here: https://getsatisfaction.com/photo_tra...

Please let me know if you have any other questions! I will be happy to assist you!

Hello Joseph,

Thank you for posting your question here with us, I will be happy to assist you with our app!

Apple does not allow a third party app to remove, modify or delete content off your device, unfortunately! So if you want to delete folders / albums or photos, you will have to do so manually through the Photos App.

To do so, you need to open the Photos App, tap on "edit" and from there you can select the photos you want to delete by going to an album or, delete an album by opening the photos app, tap on the edit button and there you can delete albums.

Please let me know if you have any other questions about our app!

Hello

Thank you for posting here, I will be happy to assist you.

The desktop app automatically downloads your photos in high resolution. Our app doesn't modify your photos or videos when you transfer so they are the original format / size they where taken in. So they should download at full resolution.

I hope this helps answer your question! Please let us know if you have any other questions about our app!

Hello Clyde

Thank you for posting your question here with us. I apologies for the delay in response.

You will need to open up the Photos App on your iPad and from there, use "select" at the top. This will then allow you to edit / delete albums off your iPad. As it is right now, our desktop app does not have the ability to delete your album directly off your device.

However with the upcoming iOS8 we're looking into potential ways we can remedy deleting off the device like Albums and photos!

Please let us know if you have any other questions about our app!

Hello Thomas,

I'm sorry you are having the same problem. what iOS are you running on your device? Also what device are you trying to transfer your videos to/from?

Note that videos that are over a few gigs, make sure you are on a strong wifi connection and that the app doesn't ping out or close during transfer. If you find the videos still struggle to transfer you might want to transfer those particularly long videos via iTunes to ensure they don't ping.

Best,

Amber
