I sincerely apologies for the delay in response back to you, I will be happy to help!
I would like to recommend that you please turn off/on your device. After turning your device on again, then launch our app and see if you are able to then discover your devices.
Sometimes after updating the iOS you need to just turn it off / on again to refresh.

My apologies for the long delay in response back! I will be happy to assist you.
The two iPads that are showing up, are they connected to the same wifi network? If you close out our app, relaunch it ensuring your iPad is on the same wifi network it should only show just the one. Is this only via the Manual method? Or can you discover your devices using the discover devices button?

Our app does not connect directly to iPhoto. So you can use our app to transfer from your Device to Mac and from there, import your photos directly into iPhoto using your computer. Or if you are going from device to iPhoto on your device, once you transfer your photos and they appear in your photos app, you should be able to then open iPhoto app on your device and import them there.

Also note that videos should be in a compatible format. mp4 should work however if you experience issues still try converting it to an .mov. You can convert it using this software ( free ): http://handbrake.fr

Unfortunately once a photo has been saved to the device it is saved with the internal naming conventions of Apple and the old name is not preserved. We are hoping we can fix this for the next update of the app for iOS8 (coming in September) which offers more options to developers.

To transfer from the computer where Photoshop is installed to the iPad you need direct access to the files. So you will have to save your photos from Photoshop in a certain file in which our app can grab from, so for example, save them in your "Pictures" folder on your computer.

If you are using the Windows 8 app then the photos should be saved on the "Pictures" app of Windows 8. For more control over the transfers I recommend using the classic desktop version of our app which you can download from here: http://phototransferapp.com/win/
If you are using the web browser version you need to extract the files from a .zip file that is placed in the designated folder where your downloaded content from the internet goes. Usually by default it goes to your "Downloads" folder or your "Desktop". Also note you do not need to download any program to open a .zip file from your computer. You should be able to right click on the .zip file and select "extract all files". It will extract them to the same folder/location where you had the file but it will be in another folder titled the exact same.

If you are experiencing the app crashing, I would like to recommend that you please close the app, turn off/on your device one more time, and then please try again. Also please make sure you have enough space on your device while you attempt to transfer them.
