If you close out the transfer and restart it, that should let you transfer the remaining photos that weren't transferred over. Right now we don't have a feature that allows you to pick up where it left off but your photos should be selected ( the previous batch that you where trying to transfer ).

Are you getting an error when you attempt to upload your photos? If so, what is it? Our app handles JPG, GIF , PNG and RAW formatted photos so ensure that your photos are in one of those compatible formats.

When you first installed our app, did you allow our app authorization to access your photos? If you had selected no you can edit this in the settings of your device/app. If you are on iOS5 please verify that you have enabled Location Services for our app under Settings -> Location Services. If you don't see Location services listed then please look under General -> restrictions to see if it's turned ON.

For iOS6 and higher the way to authorize apps to access your photos has changed on iOS6. Please go to this web address to get the instructions on how to enable access to your photos via the 'Privacy settings':

Please follow those instructions and let us know if it worked. If not, then you may need to restart our app. To do that, please double tab the 'Home button' of your device until the running apps appear and then hold your finger over our app and then tap the little '-' icon that appears over the icon. After that, launch our app and you should have access to your photos.

With the update of the new version of iOS5+ Apple decided to handle albums by duplicating all photos created in albums and sending it to the Camera Roll. Something to note: iTunes can create albums without having photos repeated on the camera roll, unfortunately that is an exclusive function of iTunes when synching. Third party apps like ours need to place the photos in the camera roll and also in the album. However, even when creating new albums directly on the 'Photos' app on the iDevice then then placing photos on the new album those photos are also repeated on the camera roll. So basically, the only way to have photos in their own and only album is synching albums with iTunes.

I would like to recommend that you please close our app, turn off/on your device and then turn it back on and attempt to discover your devices and then transfer. How many photos are you wanting to transfer?

Also, what type of router / wifi are you on? Is it a solid connection? Make sure you are as close to your wifi router as possible when attempting to make the connection between your devices.

I will be happy to assist you with our app! I will be happy to answer your questions.

Does the app allow deleting of photos?
If you wish to delete photos from your device, you will have to do so via the Photos App and manually delete them. Our app cannot delete or remove anything off your device directly, so if you wish to remove any certain amount of photos, you will have to do it via the Photos App. To do so, you should be able to open the Photos App -> tap on the album where your photos are stored -> tap on edit -> then select the desired photos you want to delete / remove.

What does the "Clear All" button do
This button allows you to clear your last selection of photos so that you can go ahead and "select all" on another page. So for example if you have 1 - 100 , 100 - 200, you can clear the 1 - 100 selection, go to the next page, select all on the 100 - 200 photos and then make another transfer without having duplicates or, transferring the last batch without clearing it first.

My apologies for the delay in response!

Our app doesn't modify anything on your device so our app couldn't have distorted the images after being transferred.

Did you edit your photos with another app or did those photos come from another device?

Can you possibly transfer them again and see if the same results happen? If so, then could you possibly send us a sample so we can test it on our end?

Thank you for posting your question here with us, I apologies for the long delay in response! Are you still experiencing issues with the app and discovering your device?

Are you using the desktop app perchance? you can read more about our desktop app(s) here: http://phototransferapp.com/mac/

Make sure that your have your device connected to the same wifi network as your computer. Also make sure that you keep the app running while you attempt to transfer.

I would like to suggest touch "Discover Devices" button a couple of times as sometimes it may take a couple of attempts for the app to discover the devices. Also you can close out the app and start it again, that will force the app to 'broadcast' itself on the network again and then touch "discover devices" button on the other device to try to re-discover it as sometimes it takes just a few attempts to re-discover.

Another solution you can attempt: Please reset your wifi network and then join the network again from the devices.
