When you use our backup feature, it copies all the photos on your device ( camera roll / photos album ) and makes a backup on your computer. When you backup the photos, it will only copy the photos and not delete them.

In regards to the share only one folder, are you referring to having access to only one folder or viewing one folder in your GD? If you are concerned about security, note that our app doesn't have any way for a third party to see what's on your device or your Google Drive through our app. The only person who can see those folders / photos are you!

For your device, can you update to the latest version? ( iOS 8.2 ). Are you only trying to connect the devices when you experience the crash? Or do you have any photos selected yet?

I will be happy to help you! Sense our last communication with you, there's been several updates to our app as well as the iOS.

What iOS are you running and what version of our app are you running? Make sure you are running the latest version of our app. After you transfer photos with our app and then close out the app, it should delete those temporary files automatically.

If you recently updated our app I would like to recommend that you please close out our app, turn off/on your device and try once more to view your albums. Make sure you have the app running when you attempt to transfer between devices.

Also are you going from Android to Mac? Or Mac to Android?

Our app can only see the photos that are stored in your photos app / camera roll. It can't grab photos from other apps within those apps. If you can somehow save those images to your Camera roll / photos app then our app should be able to transfer those photos.

Our app doesn't indicate once you've transferred a photo with our app. If you want to avoid duplicates, you can use our backup feature which will backup all your photos and once you back them up it will not back up duplicates or photos you've already backed up with the app.

Have you only tried the desktop app? I would recommend trying the web browser and see if you still get the same error.

Also you might want to try closing out our app and re-launching it again and try to discover your device. Does your devices name have an apostrophe in it somewhere? Like Terry's?

I'm sorry you are still experiencing problems with the transfer and discovering devices.

Are you on a home wifi network? If so can you tell me the make and model of your wifi router? Perhaps there is an issue with the configuration. Something else that you can try is to try and connect on another wifi network and see if you still experience the same problems.
