Ryan Stone 10 years ago updated 10 years ago 4
I have the latest versions installed on my macbook air, iPad air and iPhone 5s. Macbook recognises iPad and iPhone but when i try to connect to either an error messages says that it can't connect and i need to install the latest version of the app on iPad or iPhone. Please help.
Hello Ryan,

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help you with our app!

I would like to recommend that you please close out our app, launch your photos app first and then launch our app and please try to discover your devices. Sometimes it just takes a few attempts to discover your device ( despite the error, to which we are working on updating ).

Please let me know if this helps or if you have any other issues!

Best,

Amber

Hi Amber,

Thanks for your reply. No, unfortunately that doesn't work. My Macbook shows both devices (iPad or iPhone) but gives the error message when i attempt connection to either. I've tried your suggestion about 15 times but nothing has changed.
Any more ideas?
Thanks,

Ryan
So this app is pretty much useless for me. Is this error likely to be fixed or will you give me a refund so I can use the money on an app that actually works?
Thanks.
Hi Ryan,

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having issues with the app. It seems that perhaps your wifi router is blocking the connection between the devices. What brand of wifi router do you have? If you have an Apple router make sure that you are using the main network and not the 'guest' network as that network will not allow devices to talk to each other.

Best regards,

Enrique
