Hello,
Thanks for posting your question here. I'm sorry you are having issues with the app. We had couple of other reports about this and we are investigating what could be causing this. Can you tell us what is the version of Android that you are using? Also, can you check that the app has all the permissions that it needs? To do this go to the 'Settings' of your device, then Applications and then select our app and check that it has 'Storage', 'Network communication' and 'System tools' permissions.
Thanks for your patience and help figuring this out.
Kind regards,
Enrique

Hi Paul,
I'm really sorry for not getting back to you, somehow I missed your last comment! Sorry about that. Are you still having the crashing problem? Did you verify if your devices (sender and receiver) have enough free space? If you continue having problems please send us an email to: support [at] phototransferapp [dot] com and I will send you some instructions on how to send us the crash logs of the app. We are about to send an update to Apple (v3.3) and I want to make sure that this issue is resolved. Thanks for your help! And sorry about the issues you've been having.
Best,
Enrique

Hi gvdid1,
I just downloaded and tried the Fing network scanner and it is indeed very interesting. It seems that it can scan all devices connected on the network but it can't scan other wifi networks which seems normal. This has gave me some good ideas on how to make the discovery and address typing much easier. I appreciate the feedback, we will concentrate on making this aspect of the app much easier for next version (btw, v3.3 is almost done with some nice improvements).
Thanks!
Enrique

Dear Renay,
Thanks for posting your question here. This problem is most likely due to not having Location Services enabled for our app. Apple requires all apps accessing photos and videos on the device to have location services enabled as many of your photos may be geo-tagged. Please open the 'Settings' app and then go to 'Location services' and then turn on the location services switch for our app. That should fix the issue.
I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other question or comment.
Kind regards,
Enrique

Hi Kevin,
Are you using the Mac App on your computer? I think the issue is that you haven't enabled Location Services on your device. Please open the 'Settings' app on your device and then enable location services for our app. Apple requires all apps accessing Photos and Videos to have access to Location Services (unfortunately!). Once you do that you should be able to make the app work.
I hope this helps!
Kind regards,
Enrique

Hi Debi,
Thanks for posting your question here. Did you take all the videos using your iPad or where they imported from somewhere else? How long are your videos? Our app transfers video files exactly as they are stored on your device, we don't modify them or change them on any way so if they play on your iPad then they should play on your computer. I would suggest to check that you have the latest version of QuickTime installed:
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
You can also try another video player to see if your videos play better there:
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
And, one more suggestion is to use our new Mac app to transfer your videos from iPad to computer:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/photo-...
I hope this helps you! Let us know if you continue having issues. We will try to help you.
Kind regards,
Enrique

Dear Chris,
Thanks for posting your question on the forum. The answer provided by 'gvdid1' is perfectly accurate. You can definitely install the app on both devices and transfer photos between them even when they are configured with different iTunes accounts. As gvdid1 mentioned, if you install it using different iTunes accounts then you will have to pay for the app separately on each one.
I hope the app will be useful to you! Let us know if you have any other questions or comments.
Kind regards,
Enrique

Hi Bryan,
I'm sorry it took me long to respond. Are you still having problems with the app? If yes, can you provide us with some information about the type of wifi network you are using and the wifi router? Most of the time this type of connection problems are due to a special configuration of the wifi router that you are using. One important thing is that if you are using an Apple or Cisco router to make sure that you are using the main wifi network and not the 'guest' network that these routers create.
Let us know if you need more help.
Kind regards,
Enrique

(This is a copy of the content of the email that we sent you from our support inbox). Please try right-clicking the zip file on a File Explorer window. When you right-click the zip file you should see an option to 'Extract' the contents of the file. Windows has a built-in unzip program that should work to get the photos from the zip file.
If you continue having problems please tell us what version of Windows you are using and I will try to research how to fix the default zip extraction.
Kind regards,
Enrique
