Photo Transfer App not working with Safari 5.1.1. Server not found.

Currently, Photo Transfer iPhone does not work with Safari 5.1.1 on Mac 10.7.2. Trying both addresses and the Safari supplied Bonjour link results in a, "Safari can not connect to the Server" error. Everything works fine in Camino, Firefox and Chrome. Photo Transfer App V. 3.0.
I have just purchased this app, and have tried all ... Including restarting ipad2, to no avail.

Anyone have any other hints?
Success, rebooted everything, now no problems with transferring photos from PC to ipad.

Works great !!

However, have been having a problem transferring videos, seems to send, then just a little blank jpg ....

Anyway, for the pictures alone it is worth its weight in gold!! Many thanks.

Thanks for posting your question here. I just tried accessing the address from Safari 5.1.1 on 2 different systems and had no issues. Maybe you want to try to restart your system to see if the issue is resolved that way?

Another thing to try is to use the 'Bookmarks' menu on Safari and then use the 'Bonjour' menu item that should discover the devices running the app automatically. Hopefully the page will load that way. But apriori, there is no issue we have found so far with the app and Safari 5.1.1.

Let us know when you have a chance to try this out.

Restarted Safari and the problem went away.

Previously, I could see the Bonjour link to the phone in the sidebar, but after clicking on that, I would get the Server not found error.

All is well.
I still can't get this to work after following all directions.

I'm sorry you are having issues with the app. Can you send us some information about the type of wifi network you are using? Most of the time this type of problems are related to the type of wifi router you are using and its configuration. I'm not sure what type of router it is. The brand is Belkin.

If you can also find the model # of that Belkin router, and eMail it to the eMail address Enrique mentioned, above, along with IF your computer is using a firewall program, or one included in the OS, which one is being used, it will help Enrique solve your problem.
