Thanks for your comments. I'm sorry you are having issues with the app. This is Enrique, one of the developers of the app. Amber called my attention on this issue and I wanted to respond personally. We are looking into this issue, seems like our Windows app is giving up too fast when a network interruption occurs on long files. We are in the process of looking at the issue and implementing a fix for the next update. I apologize for the problem.

In the meantime, here is one thing to try to see if you get your video to transfer:

1) Open the app on your iPad and then touch 'Send' > 'Windows Computer' > 'Use web browser'.

2) Select the video that you want to transfer using the app on the iPad

3) Go to the web address provided by the app and try downloading the video directly from the web page. You can right click over the video thumbnail and click on 'Save target as..' so you can select where to save the video.

4) The transfer will start. You may not get feedback on the iPad but you can tell on your browser that the video will be downloading.

I hope this will help you while we figure out the large video transfer on the Windows app.

Just wanted to mentioned that the new version of the app is now available on the app store. This update fixes the issue with Bluetooth on iOS7. Bluetooth transfers should be working well now with this new version. I apologize for this issue. Let us know if you have any question or comment.

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for contacting us. This should be easy to fix. Open the 'Photos' app on your iPhone and simply delete the new album you created then go back to Photo Transfer App and try the transfer process again.

Thanks for reporting this issue. What happens if you only have 1 iPhone running Photo Transfer App? While the backup is happening you will not be able to connect to another device. We would recommend you to let one device backup without connecting the other to avoid any issues.

Thanks for your comment and suggestion. Yes, that's a nice idea, we will add it to our list and hopefully we can come up with something to enable auto-backup. That would probably require the app to be constantly running on your desktop but that should be possible without making any impact on the performance of the computer.

Are you using the desktop app to transfer your videos? or the web interface?

What time did you purchase the app? The weekend special finished automatically yesterday (Sunday) at midnight PST. It is possible that during a few minutes the message was still appearing while the price had already changed. Unfortunately we don't have control over this - we schedule price changes via the iTunes system and sometimes it takes a few minutes for the price/description changes to be reflected across the iTunes servers. Please email us to support [at] phototransferapp [dot] com so we can see other possible options to resolve this.

One more note to try to help. Please check that you have authorized our app to read your photos on your iPhone. On iOS6 please check this:

If you are still running iOS5 then open the 'Settings' app and then open 'Location Services' and then make sure that our app is turned ON (this is a requirement from Apple to be able to read photos on iOS5 since your photos may be geo-tagged).
