Dear Irene,
Thanks for contacting us. The address you are entering has a small typo, you should enter a ":" (colon) instead of a "." (period) before the 8080. Make sure you type it in the address bar of your web browser as well and not the 'google search engine'.
I hope this helps you. Please let us know if you continue having problems or need more help.
Warm Regards,
Enrique

Dear John,
What type of wifi network are you using? Is it a home wifi network or a public network? If you are using a home wifi network then can you tell us what type of router do your have? If you have an Apple or Cisco router please make sure that you are using the main wifi network and not the guest network as those routers have the ability to create 2 kinds of wifi networks and the guest network does not allow devices to talk to each other.
You can send us more details about your setup to our support inbox: support [at] phototransferapp [dot] com, we will be happy to help.
Best,
Enrique

Let me just clarify that the app allows you to transfer photos as long as you computer and your device are connected to the same network. Your iPhone can connect over wireless and your computer via cable and the transfer should work.

Let me just clarify that currently transferring from Android to iPhone/iPad over bluetooth is currently NOT supported on our app. To transfer photos from Android to iPhone/iPad and vice versa you need to have both devices connected to the same wifi network.
Please note that if you are using a public wifi network the connection between the devices may not be very reliable so we advice you to use a home wifi network instead. Let us know if you continue having problems. We will be happy to help!
Kind regards,
Enrique

Dear Ingemar,
Thanks for contacting us. Currently our app allows you to transfer only photos when using Bluetooth. This is because the transfer speed is significantly lower than over wifi and the video files can be very large.
Let us know if you have any other question or need further assistance.
Kind regards,
Enrique

Hello,
I'm sorry you are having problems with the app. Let me clarify couple of things. Yes, you need your Mac and your iPhone to be on the same wifi network in order to transfer photos between them. To start a transfer you can do it 2 ways: one is to use a web browser by going to the address indicated inside of the app and transfer the photos that way. The other is to use our Mac app which automatically discovers the devices connected to the wifi network and that are using the app.
If you are already using the Mac app on your computer and the app on your iPhone then you should be able to transfer them that way. Where did you get the message about not running the same version? The version of the apps that you indicated are correct. Let us know if you continue having problems. We will be glad to help.
Kind regards,
Enrique

Hello,
Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having problems with the app. It seems that some of your photos may have multiple representations which may be causing the app to offer the download in the different formats PNG and XMP - this usually happens if you edited a screenshot on your iPhone. There is 2 quick ways to go around this problem. First, after you select the photos that you want to transfer go to the transfer web page (as you did before) and then add "photos.zip" to the end of the address to start downloading the images instead of clicking on one of the 2 formats offered. That will trigger the download containing the full resolution version of your images. The address will look like this: http:///photos.zip -- after you type that the download should start.
The second option is to download our Mac app from here (if you have a mac computer):
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/photo-...
I hope this is helpful to you! Let us know if you continue having issues. I will be glad to help. We will look at this issue to solve it as soon as possible.
Best,
Enrique

Hi Bob,
I'm sorry I didn't get back to you earlier! We are working on updating the app soon so I've been busy with that. One thing that I forgot to ask you is what version of iOS are you using on your iPad? We were just using the app on an iPad 1 with iOS 5.1 and we saw a similar issue so I wanted to ask you for the version you are using now. Also let me know if you figured something else out on your side. One thing that may be interesting to test is to send yourself a picture via email and try to save the photo from the mail app to see if that works just to check if it is a general issue of something related specifically to our app.
Best regards,
Enrique

Thanks for contacting us. The temporary files should be deleted after the transfer is completed unless there was a problem during the transfer. What version of the app are you using? Please make sure that you haver the latest version 3.3. We will take a deeper look at this issue. If you still see the space taken by the app you can delete the app and re-install it (you won't be charged again) to clear all temporary files from it.
Best regards,
Enrique
