Hello,
Thanks for contacting us. On the iPad please go to the 'Settings' app and touch the 'Wi-fi" options then check that you are connected to your home network. Then on the mac click on the little wifi icon located on the top right corner of your screen next to the clock. After you checked that both are on the same wifi network you can use our mac app to transfer your photos. Download the Mac app from here:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/photo-...
The mac app should discover your iPad automatically and you should be able to transfer your photos that way.
I hope this helps you!
Best,
Enrique

Dear DT,
Thanks for contacting us. Is the app stuck on the 'Send' screen? What happens if you touch the 'Send' button? The app should take you back to the main screen. If you can't get out of that screen maybe you will have to re-install the app. Simply uninstall the app (by holding your finger over the app icon's for couple of seconds) and then install it again from the App Store (don't worry you will not be charged to install it again).
I hope this helps you. Please let us know if you continue having issues. We will be glad to help.
Best,
Enrique

Dear Pam,
I'm sorry you are having issues with the app. If you were able to transfer photos before then you should continue to do it, just make sure that you keep the app running on your device and double check that your device and computer are connected to the same wifi network. Also, you may want to reset your wifi router to make sure that all connections are refreshed. If you continue having problems please send us the model of your wifi router to our support email and we can try to check if there is anything special that needs to be done: support [at] phototransferapp [dot] com.

Dear Nasir,
Thanks for contacting us. Regarding the names of photos and videos transferred from computer to iPad, unfortunately that's not currently possible. We depend on the programming interfaces that Apple provides on the iPhone SDK to read the photos and videos and they do not include being able to read the original name of the files. Basically, when a photo is saved to an iPhone or an iPad they get assigned an internal name created by the 'Photos' app. When we read the photos they already have a different name which makes it impossible to go back to the original name.
Please let us know if you have any other question or comment.
Best,
Enrique

Dear Ben,
Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having problems with the app. In order to transfer your photos in a zip file our app needs to group the photos together first and then transfer them to your computer. If the iPad runs out or space in the middle of the grouping of the photos then this problem may occur. What I would suggest is to either try making a bit more space on the iPad by deleting some apps/data or to try to transfer your photos in smaller batches so there is enough space to create the temporary zip file. The app should remove the temporary zip file after the transfer is done.
We will look into coming up with a better solution to avoid this. Please let us know if you continue having problems or if you have any other question.

Enrique

Dear Philip,
Thanks for contacting us. Please open the 'Settings' app on your iPhone and iPad and then scroll until you find the settings for our app. Then change the 'Max video duration' setting from 1200 seconds to higher to allow longer videos to transfer. Also, make sure that you have good wifi signal to avoid network connection interruptions when you attempt to transfer a very large video.
I hope this is helpful. Let us know if you need further assistance.
Best,
Enrique

Dear Ksenilia,
Thanks for contacting us. Yes, our app allows you to transfer photos stored on your iPad regardless on what album they are stored. The only requirement is that your photos appear inside of the native 'photos' app on your iPad. If you see your photos there then our app can transfer them. Also, to transfer photos from your iPad to your computer you need to have them connected to the same wifi network.
I hope our app will be useful to rescue your photos! Let us know if you need any help. We'll be glad to assit you.

Enrique

Dear Oscar,
Thanks for contacting us. Our app transfers your videos exactly as they are stored on your device, we don't modify the video files in any way. Most likely the issue is that your computer is having trouble playing the videos due to either memory or speed issues. The iPhone 4 and 4S take videos at very high resolution so you need a computer that has enough memory and speed to play them. Try to close some other programs on your computer and make sure you have the latest version of Quick Time:
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
You can also try playing them using VLC:

I hope this helps you! Let us know if you have any other question or comment.
