Where did you pay $2.99 and on what platform? Currently transferring from a PC to a Mac isn't supported, only transferring from an iDevice to an Android to/from PC or Mac is supported with our app :)
I would recommend that you ensure that both your devices are sharing the same wifi network and that you have the app running on both devices while you attempt to transfer from one to the other.
Are you on a home wifi network, or a public network?

I would like to recommend that you check your settings that you've allowed our app permission to view your photos.
If you are on iOS5 please verify that you have enabled Location Services for our app under Settings -> Location Services. If you don't see Location services listed then please look under General -> restrictions to see if it's turned ON.
For iOS6 the way to authorize apps to access your photos has changed on iOS6. Please go to this web address to get the instructions on how to enable access to your photos via the 'Privacy settings':

I would like to recommend the following solutions:
1. Make sure you are connected to the same wifi network and that you keep the app running while you attempt to discover your devices. Tap on "discover devices" a few times to make sure your iPhone is in fact discovered. If you continue to have problems, close out our app, close out the desktop app, launch your photos app first then launch our app and the desktop app. Discover your devices and try again.
2. Make sure you are on the latest version of Adobe Air: http://get.adobe.com/air/

If you launch our app you should have an album titled Camera Roll. This is the default album in your photos app (if you tap on your photos app, camera roll should be the first one listed). This is where all of your photos are stored and you can transfer to/from your camera roll using our app.
As far as transferring your videos, our app can certainty transfer videos as well :) They should be stored in your camera roll as well. Are you able to locate them there? Also note: Either transfer photos or videos. Not photos and videos together when using the web interface. Photos and videos can be transferred together when using the desktop app.

What iOS version are you using on your iPad? Is it an iPad 1st generation? It seems that we have an issue with the introduction screen when your iPad is still running iOS4.3. The solution to this is to update your iPad to iOS5 or iOS6 which are the most recent versions of the operating system published by Apple. To do that please connect your iPad to the computer you normally sync and update to iOS5 or iOS6.
You need to have at least iOS4.3 to at least be able to install the app on your device. Unfortunately Apple does NOT allow installation of iOS4.3 on iPhone 3G. We are looking into this situation but unfortunately Apple has dropped support of the new versions of iOS on iPhone 3G and they dont accept new apps or updates for iOS lower then 4.3.

Did you edit the videos with any app or software? Our app transfers your videos over without modifying them so they should be how they appear on your device.
Have you made sure you are using the latest version of Quicktime?

As of right now, Apple has decided to handle Albums by duplicating all photos created or sent to albums into your camera roll as well. So when if you delete a photo from your Camera roll, it will also delete in an album that it is located in. We wish that this was handled differently but unfortunately this has to do with how Apple decided to handle photos and albums :(
Something to note: iTunes can create albums without having photos repeated on the camera roll, unfortunately that is an exclusive function of iTunes when synching. Third party apps like ours need to place the photos in the camera roll and also in the album. However, even when creating new albums directly on the 'Photos' app on the iDevice then then placing photos on the new album those photos are also repeated on the camera roll. So basically, the only way to have photos in their own and only album is synching albums with iTunes.

Usually with larger videos ( anything over 1 gig or higher ) we recommend using iTunes to sync it only because it might take a while to transfer over a wifi network. Do you have issues with just this one video? Or with all other videos?
Also make sure when downloading videos that you keep the app running. If the app times out then the transfer won't complete.
Please let me know if syncing with iTunes helped solve the issue!
