As far as your question about deleting photos, unfortunately apple doesn't allow third party apps to remove or modify content on your device so you will have to manually delete photos using the photos app in your iPhone.

In regards to the question about the duplicates, unfortunately that is how Apple decided to handle albums by including the photo in the Camera roll if you transfer a photo to your Album. We wish it was a different way!

As of right now Apple does not provide a way for you to transfer an entire album, however, our app will allow you to transfer all the content in your Album to your device or computer over a wifi network :) We also have a Backup feature when transferring from device to computer with our free desktop app that will backup your albums or the ones you choose.

In regards to deleting photos, again, Apple doesn't allow third party apps to remove or modify content so you will have to manually delete photos and albums from your device directly.

Our app cannot grab from iPhoto directly so you will have to go to the folder where your photos are stored in iPhoto and then from there, you can then use our app to transfer from Mac to iPad.

Thank you for posting your question with us, I will be happy to assist you with our app!

I would like to recommend that you please force quit our app ( double tap on the home button, then scroll to our app and swipe up to force quit the app on iOS 7. For iOS6 or below, double tap the home button, tap and hold our app until it wiggles and tap the red "-" ). Then please launch your photos app first and then launch our app again and attempt your transfer.

If you find this doesn't help I would then recommend that you please uninstall and reinstall our app and then try to transfer / discover your devices with our app.

A 30 minute movie is a fairly large video to try and transfer over a wifi network using our app directly. Usually for large videos we recommend syncing it with iTunes to get it to your computer or to your device. iTunes itself should be able to handle the video file as long as it's in a compatible format. It should be able to play a .mov formatted video. Did you take / edit the video with your iPad?

As of right now you can only transfer videos that where taken with your device or another device and transfer from device to computer, computer to device or device to device. Our app doesn't have a way to download videos from the internet and then transfer them to another device directly.

However if you download a video from the internet you can then download it to your iPad using the computer. Are you having trouble transferring this video from iPad to computer via our app?

I will be happy to assist you with our app! In regards to your inquiry about our app grabbing photos elsewhere. Unfortunately our app can only grab from the Photos App ( ie: Camera roll & albums that are stored there ).

So if you want to transfer via our app from iPad to Mac or visa versa, you can only transfer to your photos app. You can transfer to only a very few select apps like colorblast.

We wish that Apple handled photos and albums differently but unfortunately when you transfer your photos into a folder it also duplicates into your camera roll as well.

Thank you for contacting us! I am sorry you are having issues with the app.

If you are on iOS7 then if you transfer a photo that say you took in February 2013 (regardless of the name) then the photo will appear in the right place under the 'Photos' tab (Moments/Collections/Years) when you drill down to February, however, it will appear as the LAST photo in the Camera Roll because the Camera roll is sorted on the order the photos were saved not on the date the photo was taken. It's important to make sure that your photos weren't modified with other apps or programs because that will remove the EXIF headers which will cause you to loose the date and information for the photos.

Did you happen to modify those photos in any other app or any other source that might have changed the "exif" data? I would like to suggest that you please try this:

1) Open Photo Transfer App on your iDevice
2) Go to 'Send' > 'Device' > 'Select photos & videos'
3) Find the photo you transferred and then long press over it. This should bring the photo in full screen. Then press on the 'info' button on the top right corner.
4) Check that the date of the photo is correct.

The photo metadata should be preserved. On the 'Photos' tab they are organized by time so the photos will be arranged according to the 'exif' date which should correspond to the date the photo was taken.
