Get rid of duplicates

Carlo Baroncini 11 years ago updated 11 years ago 1
Is it possible to avoid to duplicate photos already present in an iPad folder? When i'm on an assignment i'd like to upload some photos on day 1, then the next day i want to upload in the same folder only the new photos, but since their filenames have changed it becomes manic to select only the new ones, while if i upload them all i will get a lot of duplicates, and at the end of the week.... no way...
Thanks,
Carlo
Hello Carlo!

Thanks for contacting us, I will be more then happy to help you!

With the update of the new version of iOS5+ Apple decided to handle albums by duplicating all photos created in albums and sending it to the Camera Roll. Something to note: iTunes can create albums without having photos repeated on the camera roll, unfortunately that is an exclusive function of iTunes when synching. Third party apps like ours need to place the photos in the camera roll and also in the album. However, even when creating new albums directly on the 'Photos' app on the iDevice then then placing photos on the new album those photos are also repeated on the camera roll. So basically, the only way to have photos in their own and only album is synching albums with iTunes.

Please let me know if I can assist you further. Thanks!

Warm Regards,

Amber
