Thanks for contacting us. The MP4 format is a "container" format which may carry different types of videos encoded with different codecs. On our testing we found that many times these codecs where not supported by the iPad so we decided not to support MP4 for now.
We are in the process of fixing that now. However, I would suggest to try 2 things for now to see if your MP4 file is compatible. First is to try to upload your MP4 file to the iPad by simply renaming the file so it has .MOV extension. That way our app will accept it as transferable and we will see if the video gets saved.
If you get a "no compatible video" message then the other thing to try is to use a workaround that we implemented on the last version of our app. Please follow this instructions:
1. Open the 'Settings' app on your iPad and scroll down until you find our app ('Transfer')
2. Change the switch for 'Use old saving APIs' to ON
Doing this will tell our application to use the old programming interfaces provided by Apple to save your video which are more forgiving in terms of video formats.

Dear Ian,
Thanks for posting your question here. You actually do not need to install anything on your computer. If the app is already on your iPad then you are ready to transfer photos. Just make sure that your device an computer are connected to the same wifi network, then open the app on your iPad and go to the address provided using your computer's web browser.

Just make sure that your device an computer are connected to the same wifi network, then open the app on your iPad and go to the address provided using your computer's web browser.

Thanks for posting your problem here. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with our app. What type of wifi networks did you try to use? Please note that some public/corporate wifi networks block the communication between devices causing the problem that you are experiencing. Those restricted networks 'isolate' each device preventing all communication between them.
If you are using a home wifi network it would be very useful to know what type of wifi router you have so we can suggest some things to try to solve the issue. Also, if you could tell us what address the app is giving you that would help us figure out where the issue may be.
Unfortunately Apple does not provide a way for developers to process refunds. Apple handles all payments and credit card information (that's why they keep a 30% cut on each app sale). You can try requesting a refund directly with Apple using iTunes.
Please give us some information about the type of wifi network you are using and the address the app is giving you and we will be happy to help.

The issue is solved but the update is still not approved by Apple. We've been waiting to hear from them for a few days but haven't yet. I will post something here as soon as the update that solves this issue is resolved. Sorry again for the delay and thanks for your patience.

The airport router allows you to create a guest network that is very restricted in terms of security, thats why is very important to check that you are using the main network and not the guest network.
You can also try the other address that appears inside of our application, the one that says for windows computer which should also work with Mac computers and sometimes is more reliable, but again, make sure that you are using the main network of your airport router.

Also, please make sure that you keep the app running on your device and that you use the address that appears inside of the app, do not bookmark the address as it may change from time to time. Make sure that you type the address directly on the address bar and not in the search bar otherwise you would be searching for the address instead of going to it directly.
Also, if you continue having problems you could try to reset your wifi router and join the network again from your iPhone/iPad and your computer to make sure that all connections are refreshed.

Thanks for posting your question here. The WMV is a Windows Media Video that is not compatible on iPhone/iPod as it is encoded using a codec that is not available on the device. You should first convert the video to MOV or M4V format and then try to transfer it to your device so it can be played. I hope this makes sense.
