Hello,
I'm really sorry to hear the problem occurred again. Are you getting the same 'not compatible' issue as before? If yes, I would recommend you to open the 'Photos' app before you start a transfer, opening the 'Photos' app before a transfer ensures that the photo database is up to date. So, simply, open the Photos app, then close it, open our app and try the transfer again.
If that does not help then please provide me with some extra info about the videos that you are trying to upload. Are they all from the same source? or from different cameras/sources?
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Enrique

Photo Transfer App
Hello,
Thanks for posting your question here. I'm sorry you are having issues with the app. The error you described usually means that the photo catalog on the iPad is not up to date. I would recommend you to try to open the 'Photos' app before you start a transfer to make sure that the photo catalog is up to date. Opening the photos app forces the database to get updated, then, try to transfer your videos again using our app. Sometimes the photo database needs to be updated before a transfer takes place otherwise the 'Photos' app interface returns an error.
If that does not work then, try this:
1. Open the 'Settings' app on your iPad and scroll down until you find our app ('Transfer')
2. Change the switch for 'Use old saving APIs' to ON and close the settings app.
Doing this will tell our application to use the old programming interfaces provided by Apple to save your photos. It looks like the new programming interface provided in the last SDK is having some problems with certain photos/videos. I hope that will fix the problem you are having. Let me know when you have a chance to try this out.
I hope this helps. Please let me know how it goes. I will be very happy to assist you.
Kind regards,
Enrique

Hi Jesse,
Thanks for the extra information. I just added this to our revision list, we are actually preparing an update for the app and I will make sure that we can fix this. Currently the photos and videos are transferred separately so it may be that you first transferred the photos and then the videos which would cause the ordering problem.
Let us know if you have any other comment or suggestion. We appreciate your feedback to make the app better.

Dear Thomas,
Thanks for downloading the app, I'm really sorry you have problems with the app.
As mentioned in the previous answer by 'gvdid1', there are times where the router configuration may cause connection problems between your iPhone and your computer. The app works by creating a small web server on your iPhone. You contact this web server by using the address provided inside of the app which is actually the address of your device inside of your internal wifi network.
All the transfers occur inside of your wifi network but in order to establish a connection the router needs to allow the devices to communicate between each other. The great majority of wifi routers are configured to allow devices to 'talk' to each other, however some routers prevent this communication by 'isolating' devices from each other.
I just did some research about your router and found other users having similar problems when trying to share a wireless printer or sharing files using the same router. Here are a few discussions about similar problems using your router:
http://forums.verizon.com/t5/FiOS-Int...
http://forums.verizon.com/t5/FiOS-Int...
Here is also the user manual that I'm reading to try to find a solution.
http://onlinehelp.verizon.net/consume...
It looks like the issue may be with the 'Access contro' settings of the router. If you go to page 80 of the users manual you can find a description of the access control rules of the router. Whenever you have a chance it wold be great if you can follow those steps on the users manual to see if you can change the configuration and allow all internal HTTP connections.
Again I apologize for the issues you've had. I understand if you don't want to deal with the configuration changes of your router. You can email us at: support [at] phototransferapp [dot] com and we will try to find a way to compensate you for the cost of the app.
Kind regards,
Enrique

Hello Erika,
Thanks for posting your question here. The previous answer by 'gvdid1' is correct, our app allows you to transfer photos from computer to iPad (and vice versa) as well as transferring photos between iDevices and Android devices. We currently do not support transferring from/to Facebook. We may add this in the future but currently you would have to download your photos to your computer and then you could use our app to transfer them to your iPad.
I hope this answers your question. Please let us know if you have any other question or comment.
Have a great week!

Enrique

Hello,
Thanks for contacting us. Is your Samsung phone using Android? If yes, then you can download 'Photo Transfer App' for Android from the Android market and download the app to your iPad from the App Store to be able to transfer from your Android device to your iPad. Here is the link to the android app:
https://market.android.com/details?id...
For now we require people to pay for both versions but we are thinking about how we could solve this. We wanted to release the app as soon as possible so we decided to charge for the Android version as well but we are working on a new scheme to allow people to pay once if they already have the app on one platform.
Because this is new, you can email us to: support [at] phototransferapp [dot] com and we will send you a promo code for the app so you can get it on your iPad without cost. You will only need to get it for your Android device.
I hope this answers your question. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Best regards,
Enrique

To delete the photos with the JPG icon you can touch the 'action' button on the top right corner of the thumbnails view to select the photos you want to delete.
I hope this helps. Please let me know how it goes. I will be very happy to assist you.

Thanks for posting your question here. Currently we only support transferring from device to device (iPhone, iTouch and iPad) over bluetooth. There is not support for bluetooth transfers from iPhone to computer yet as this would require a desktop application and we currently use the web browser to transfer from and to computer. I will post something here if this changes in the future.
Please let us know if you have any other question or comment.
