Dear Laurel,

Thanks for posting your question here. I'm sorry you are having trouble with your iPod. That's quite strange. Would you be able to send us a screenshot of what you are seeing on your iPod? (You can take a screenshot by touching the home and power button at the same time).

I would recommend you to try to turn off your iPod and turn it back on to see if that helps with this issue. Also, you can try doing a full sync with your computer and iTunes, maybe there is something that is not in sync causing this issue.

I hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes after you try these suggestions.

Kind regards,

Enrique

Dear Lee,

Thanks for posting your question here. I'm sorry you are having problems with the app.

The address that is provided on the app is the actual address of your device on your wifi network. That address is accessible only from a computer connected to the same wifi network. That's why is important to double check that your device and your computer are connected to the same wifi network.

Are you using a public wifi network? Please note that some public wifi networks are configured to block the communication layer that our app uses to transfer photos.

If you verified that they are in the same wifi network then you could try using the alternate address that appears on your device when you launch our app (the one that says for Windows computers with a few numbers). Please note that sometimes it takes couple of attempts to establish communication.

Finally, you could also try resetting your wifi router to make sure that all connections get refreshed. After you reset the wifi router you need to join the network again on your device and try the transfer process again.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you continue having problems, if you do please send us the address that you are getting to check if it looks ok. I will be very happy to help.

Kind regards,

Enrique

Dear Kevin,

I'm really sorry the app has not been useful to you and sorry to hear your feel that way. If you provide us with some details of the address that the app is giving you and the model/brand of the wifi router that you are using we will be very happy to continue helping you as fast as possible.

Some wifi routers have a special configuration that prevents devices to talk to each other for security reasons preventing our app to communicate with your computer. In this case a small change on the configuration of the router may allow the app to communicate and transfer photos.

Again, I'm sorry about the bad experience you had with our app, we will be glad to assist you further.

Best regards,

Enrique

Hello,

Thanks for posting your question here. I will be more then happy to help you.

Yes, you can definitely transfer photos from your iPad 2 to your Windows computer using our app. To transfer from iPad to computer (or vice versa) you need to have the app installed on your iPad only, you don't need to install anything on your computer actually. If the app is installed on your iPad you just need to make sure that your computer and your iPad are connected to the same wifi network and then you need to go to the address provided inside of our application using any web browser installed on your computer like Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox or other browsers.

Here is an instructional video found on our website on how to transfer from iPad to computer:

I hope this helps. Please let me know if I can help you further.

Dear Carlos,

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having problems using the app.

To transfer photos from iPhone to iPad you need to have the app installed on both devices (you only pay once to install it in both when using the same iTunes account on both devices). Then, after the app is installed on your iPhone and your iPad you need to start the app on both devices and go to the 'Device' tab to select and transfer your photos from one device to another.

The devices should detect each other. The only requirement is for both to be connected to the same wifi network. This means that your iPhone and your iPad should be connected to the same wireless router (network) that you access the internet from.

Here is a video that shows how the app works to transfer photos from iPhone to iPad:

If that does not work then you can also transfer your photos over Bluetooth by touching the 'Use bluetooth' link on the 'Device' screen.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you continue having problems. I will be happy to help.

Kind regards,

Enrique

Dear Dave,

Thanks for posting your question here. That's odd, are you sure you are selecting new photos to transfer from your computer? Maybe you can check the thumbnails on the selection screen before you upload the photos. Did you transfer the first 1000 photos with our app? If you did, there is really no reason why the app would not continue transferring the photos normally.

I would recommend you to close the app on your device and quit the web browser on your computer. Then, launch the app again and a new web browser to repeat the process and make sure that everything is refreshed. Maybe restarting your device can also be a good idea.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you continue having problems and provide us with some extra details about your photos. We will be happy to help.

Kind regards,

Enrique

Hi Terry,

Thanks for all your feedback and your tests. Very valuable information. We will try to add support for mp4 files very soon. We will also remove the 400MB limit and put a warning message about the duration of the transfer. We originally added that restriction because in some of our tests with different routers we noticed that the router would completely drop the connection after about 400MB. This does not occurred with all routers but with enough that we decided to add this restriction and avoid having too many people having an issue. We believe we found a way to throttle the upload and we are testing to make sure that all routers are ok now.

Thanks again for your feedback. I will post something here when the next update is out.

Kind regards,

Enrique

Hi Angel,

Thanks for your feedback. That's a really nice suggestion! It totally makes sense. I just added it to our list of requested features and hope we can implement something similar for the next release of the app.

Thanks again for helping us making the app better! Let us know if you have any other question or comment.

Kind regards,

Dear Angel,

Thanks for posting your question here. Our app does not modify the photos when they are transferred. They are read and saved exactly as they are on your iPhone. If you have Windows XP on your computer then I would recommend to try a different software to view your photos because the Windows XP image gallery can't detect the rotation headers of the iPhone photos. You can try the Google Picassa viewer for example.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other question or comment. I will be glad to help.

Kind regards,

Enrique
