Thanks for contacting us. You don't have to install anything on your computer. You only need the app installed on your iPhone or iPad. Then, after the app is installed on your device you only need to go to the address provided by the app using your computer's web browser (like Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari). Just make sure that your device and your computer are connected to the same wifi network.

Thanks for contacting us. That's quite strange, did you buy the app from the 'App store' on your iPad? Maybe it was placed on one of your folders. Did you try using the search function on the iPad and searching for the app that way?
You could try to download the app again from the App Store, don't worry you will not be charged again to download the app if you already payed for it.

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having issues with the app. This is most likely an issue related to the size of the video. How long is it? If it is longer than 10 minutes please follow these instructions:
1. Open the 'Settings' app on your iPad
2. Scroll until you find the settings for 'Transfer' (our app)
3. Then, change the 'Max video duration limit' to 1200 seconds or whatever you need.
After you do this change you should be able to transfer your video. Please be aware that if your video is very long it may take several minutes to transfer.

The app does not support https, however, all transfers remain inside of your internal wifi network, the data is never sent outside the network and never reaches the internet. The app communicates from between your devices using your wifi router and the internal address of the devices so the data stays secure on your network.

Thanks for sending this information. The address that the app is giving you looks perfectly fine. It is possible that your wireless router came configured to block communication between devices on your network.
Just as a test, try to do a reset of the router, once the router has been reset please join again the network from your computer and your device and try using the app again (the address may have changed). If the problem persists then we can look at the documentation of your wifi router to see if there is anything that would have to be modified to make this work.

Hello everyone,
I want to give you a quick status update of this fix. We submitted the update with this fix on November 3rd., then Apple changed the status to 'In review' on November 15th (12 days later), a few hours later we received an email from Apple saying:
"We are currently reviewing an app that you submitted for inclusion on the App Store, and want to let you know that the review process will require additional time. We apologize for the delay and will provide you with an update on the status of your app as soon as possible."
Since then we have been trying to get more information about the status of the app which still shows 'In review' on the system. We finally got an answer a few days ago:
"Photo Transfer App has not fallen through the cracks. I recognize how frustrating it can be to hear that no new information is available, but please continue to be patient and be assured that we will notify you as soon as we can."
So, unfortunately there is nothing we can do for now, just wait for Apple to get back to us. We will continue to try to get more information and we will publish another update here as soon as we get more information.
I'm really sorry about this. I hope we will have some good news soon. Thanks again for your patience.

Thanks a lot for your response. Your suggestion is good, you can definitely use the address marked for 'Windows computers' to connect to the device from a Mac computer. In fact, that address (the one marked for windows) is the actual address of your device on your internal wifi network and is given by the wifi router to each device connected to the network. The address is only accessible from your internal wifi network, that's why is so important to check that the device and the computer are connected to the same network.
Now, the addresses are not swapped. The address listed "For Apple computers" is a 'bonjour' address. Bonjour is a technology developed by Apple that allows to type an address in a more 'friendly' way than a bunch of numbers. When you type the 'Apple' address your computer converts it to the actual number to be able to contact the device. However, sometimes, this conversion seems to fail with some routers or has conflicts with other devices running on the network (such as wireless printers) and this is why sometimes it does not work correctly although that should be rare. Robert, do you have a wireless printer connected to your network? That may be the reason why the address is not working. Let me know.
I hope this makes some sense and helps understanding the difference between the addresses. In summary, the addresses are not swapped but if you are using a Mac computer you can try both addresses listed.
