Video Upload from Windows PC to iOS device just producing JGP image.

I cannot seem to transfer a .mov video from my windows pc to my camera roll. All I get is a blankg square with JPG in the middle of it when viewinf my Photos App on the iPhone 4s. Any help? Am I missing something? I set up the ios devide to receive files from Windows computer, and follow the video upload path.
Count me in as another person waiting and hoping to be able to upload home videos to an iPad 2 as a Christmas present :( As an iOS developer myself, I've never had an update take more than 2 weeks. Very strange.
Makes me think some one is not telling the truth!
I agree. I've received multiple updates for some apps during theTime I've been waiting for the photo transfer. It's now been almost Six weeks since we were
Told an update was submitted to Apple.

Thanks for your comments. I'm extremely sorry this has taken so long, we really don't know why Apple is holding the app in review for such a long time. We've sent multiple emails to the app review team and everything they say is that we need to wait and that they will be in touch with us. As you can imagine this is very frustrating for us as well, as others pointed out it normally takes just a few days to get an update approved but this time for some reason Apple is taking very very long to do it. Here is a screenshot of the current status of the app on the iTunes connect portal just so you know that we are completely transparent about this:



We hope this 'nightmare' will end soon and that we will hear from Apple in the next few days. I apologize again, I will post something here as soon as we have more news.

One month to review? Com'on Apple reviewers, move your b*ll*cks!
At this point I think the blame needs to be shared. It appears that a product was released to Apple that was not fully regression tested. If the company had performed adequate testing then the bug would have been found before releasing to Apple and we would not be waiting for a bug fix.

We just discovered a bug with the video upload function that is causing an issue with some video uploads which is causing the problem that you are experiencing.

We already fixed it and we published an update to Apple so we are waiting for Apple to approve it. Apple takes a few days to approve an update so we expect the update with this fix to be available very soon. I apologize sincerely for this issue. Thanks for your patience.

any news on the update, been a week.
Actually, it's been a month. I reported this back on 10/26 and a fix was suppose to have been submitted to apple back then...

Can an estimated delivery date be provided, has the fix been submitted to Apple. I am ready to post a negative review on the product on the app store :(

Hello everyone,

I want to give you a quick status update of this fix. We submitted the update with this fix on November 3rd., then Apple changed the status to 'In review' on November 15th (12 days later), a few hours later we received an email from Apple saying:

"We are currently reviewing an app that you submitted for inclusion on the App Store, and want to let you know that the review process will require additional time. We apologize for the delay and will provide you with an update on the status of your app as soon as possible."

Since then we have been trying to get more information about the status of the app which still shows 'In review' on the system. We finally got an answer a few days ago:

"Photo Transfer App has not fallen through the cracks. I recognize how frustrating it can be to hear that no new information is available, but please continue to be patient and be assured that we will notify you as soon as we can."

So, unfortunately there is nothing we can do for now, just wait for Apple to get back to us. We will continue to try to get more information and we will publish another update here as soon as we get more information.

I'm really sorry about this. I hope we will have some good news soon. Thanks again for your patience.

Hello everyone,

Finally! the update that fixes this issue was approved by Apple today and is now available on the app store. Please go ahead and update the app to the latest version (3.01). I'm sorry it took sooo long to have the update released, at the end we really don't know why Apple hold the review for so long but we are happy that the update is finally available.

Thanks Enrique, I'm using it now and it's working great. Really strange it took them so long, but at least it was right before Christmas and right in time :)
