We've been researching this issue and we just discovered a bug with the video upload function that is causing a issue with some video uploads that is most likely related with the problem you are experiencing. We already fixed it and we will be publishing an update to the app store very soon. Apple takes a few days to approve an update so we expect the update with this fix to be available at the beginning of next week. I apologize sincerely for this issue. Thanks for your patience!

Just to clarify the previous answer a little bit. You can transfer photos from an iOS5 device to an Android device (and vice versa), you simply need to use the send or receive 'from another iPhone or iPad' on the iOS side even though is an Android device.

That does not sound good. It is possible that the videos did not complete the download with the previous version and iOS5 and are truncated which is most likely the issue. If you could send us a sample of the video I could take a look and see if there is a way to fix them although I'm afraid it wont be possible. Hello,

Thanks for posting your question here. I'm sorry you had issues with the app. That's strange, normally the app should reset back to normal after any transfer is done. Maybe there was an issue detecting the end of the transfer on the device. Do let us know if you have this issue again.

We will be adding the other feature soon to the app, I will post something here once it is released, it is a cool 'secret' feature :)

Hi Alex,

Yes, you can select multiple photos and then download the photos to your computer using a web browser. Selecting 100 RAW files should work but it may take sometime to transfer since RAW files are usually quite big in size.

After you select the photos on the device you need to go to the http address provided by the app to download the photos to the computer.

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having problems with the app. Did you by any chance modify the photos with a photo editing software? We've had some issues with photos that used some color schemes. If not, can you tell us what type of photos are they? Were they taken with a digital camera, with another iPhone?

I'm sorry you are still having problems. Can you please tell us what type of video are you trying to transfer? Was it taken with an iPhone? or with a digital camera? If you could send us a sample to info [at] phototransferapp [dot] com that would be useful for us to investigate futher.

Here is another thing you can try:

1. Open the 'Settings' app on your device and scroll down until you find our app ('Transfer')

2. Change the switch for 'Use old saving APIs' to ON and close the settings app.

Doing this will tell our application to use the old programming interfaces provided by Apple to save your photos. It looks like the new programming interface provided in the last SDK is having some problems with certain photos/videos. I hope that will fix the problem you are having. Let me know when you have a chance to try this out.

Dear Jim,

Thanks for contacting us. Currently there is a limit of 10 minutes for videos when transferring from iPhone to iPad. This is because of the file size of the videos larger than 10 minutes. A video of 59 minutes is probably several GB long so it may take a very LONG time to transfer from iPhone to iPad but in theory should work. To enable the transfer of longer videos do this:

Open the 'Settings' app on your iPhone and go to the settings for our app 'Transfer'). Then change the limit for the setting 'Max video duration' to 3600 seconds (60 mins).

I would recommend to do this on a wifi network that does not have much traffic. Also please note that it will probably take a long time to transfer and that the network will become slow during the transfer. We have tested with videos that are about 15 minutes long and it's worked well. This will be the biggest transfer we've heard so far so please let us know how it goes! Oh, and make sure that you have enough space on the iPad to receive such a long video.
