Please, enable transfer of 50+ photos in one run!

Hi, Thanks for the great app! Works like a charm!
I have one question, though. Why is there a 50 photos limitation in the app, whilst the web interface doesn't seem to suffer from this limitation? I upload large amounts of photos to my iDevices for reviewing / portfolio purposes on a regular basis (once-twice a week) and for these cases I have to transfer the photos in two or more runs. That's why I still use the web interface, although the Mac app is so much more beautiful in approach and design. Can you please help a lazy photographer and enable transfer of 50+ photos in one run? ;-)
Dear Willy,

Thank you for posting your question here, I will be happy to help you. I am so glad to hear you are enjoying the app! We appreciate your compliments about our app!

Can you clarify for me if you are talking about the mac app transferring only 50+ or our app itself?

If you are talking about the app not transferring more then 50 the default transfer limit is actually set to 200. You can change the default setting by going to settings -> transfer -> photo transfer limit and change the default to whatever number you need.

Just be aware that the transfer can take a little while to complete depending on the wifi network you are connected too.

Please let me know the above and if it was helpful!

Kind Regards,

Amber
photo transfer app
Hello Amber,

Thank you for your quick response. I will elaborate my question.

For evaluation and portfolio display purposes I regularly have to transfer more than 50 photos from my iMac to my iPhone / iPad. In some cases, I need to transfer less than 50 photos, in that case the Mac App is sufficient. But in most cases, I need to transfer more than 50 (typically 100-200) photos per run. I can do this without any problem using the web interface on the Mac, but I can't when I use the Mac App. With the Mac App, I get the message that I can not transfer more than 50 Photos in one run to my iDevices.

Therefore, I was a bit puzzled, why I couldn't transfer more than 50 photos with the Mac App. Especially since this limitation doesn't seem to exist in the (older and less intuitive) web interface. So it seems a little bit like a drawback when "upgrading" from the web interface on the Mac. I checked the setting of the iPhone / iPad app, but in both cases it was set to the default of 200 photos. So that doesn't explain why I ran into the 50 photos limit. Is there a any other option to check or change? Or are my photos simply to big (professional 21Mpix pictures from a Canon Eos 5D mkII DSLR camera)?

Let me be clear, I still prefer the Photo Transfer App for iPhone or iPad above any other transfering app, regardless of what I use on the Mac side. Of course, there's always iTunes, but that is a bit like using an 18-wheel truck plus trailer for getting the daily groceries. It gets you there, but it's to big, to clumsy, to slow and overequipped for the job. It can be done much more easily and much more efficient when using Photo Transfer App. Keep up the good work!

With kind regards,
