Hello,

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having problems with the app. First I would suggest to update our app to the latest version which we published just couple of days ago, the latest version is 4.0.

Regarding the issue of ordering on iPhone unfortunately we have little control as to how Apple orders the photos, basically when you take a new photo or when you take a new screenshot or when you save any photo via an app or email, etc, it will be placed as the last photo on the camera roll. We would like this to be different but unfortunately that's how Apple designed how the photos are saved on the iPhone's camera roll.

I hope this is somehow useful. Please let us know if you have any other question or comment.

Best,

Enrique

Hi Martin,

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having issues with the app. Did you update the app on your iPhone to the latest version (v4.0)? Please make sure that you are running 4.0 on your iPhone by touching the 'About' button on the main screen of the app. To update it use the 'App store' app on your iPhone.

If that does not help then please make sure that you have given permission to our app to read your photos.

I hope this helps you. Let me know if you need more help.

Yes, there should be an 'x' button on the top right corner of the popup, can you see it? If not, can you send us an screenshot? That would be helpful to see why the 'x' button is not showing up: support@phototransferapp.com.
Hi Paul,

Thanks for contacting us. Interesting, maybe it has to do with iOS 4.3.1, let's try couple of things. First leave the app and then double tap the home button to reveal the latest apps that you ran. Then touch over the icon of our app for a few seconds (long press) and then when the little red button appears click on it (to remove the app from the list of running apps). After that, just run the app again and the quick introduction should be gone.

I hope this helps. Let us know,

Hi Nancy,

Thanks for contacting us. That's strange, it seems to be more a problem with the app store. What type of iPad (1st gen, 2, 3, 4) do you have? And, do you know what version of iOS you are running? To know what version of iOS your iPad is running go to 'Settings', then 'General', then 'About' and then look under Version.

Let us now, we will be glad to help.

Hi Kellie,

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having problems with the app. Our app needs some extra space to transfer your photos. We have to group photos together to be able to transfer them to your computer which requires some extra free space on the device. If you can, please try to clear up some space on your iPad by deleting big videos or apps that require a lot of space on the iPad. Also, let's re-install our app on your device so we are sure that there is no temporary files that may be taking space. Please delete our app from your device and install it again from the app store (don't worry you will not be charged again to re-install the app). Then after you made some extra space on the iPad please try your transfer again.

BTW, you don't need to purchase extra space of storage on iCloud. Our app does not use iCloud to transfer your photos so don't need to buy the extra storage.

I hope this helps you! Please let us know if you have any other question or continue having issues.

Hello,

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having problems with the app. It seems that some of your photos may have multiple representations which may be causing the app to offer the download in the different formats PNG and XMP. There is 2 quick ways to go around this problem. First, after you select the photos that you want to transfer go to the transfer web page (as you did before) and then add "photos.zip" to the end of the address to start downloading the images instead of clicking on one of the 2 formats offered. That will trigger the download containing the full resolution version of your images.

The second option is to download our Mac app from here (free):

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/photo-...

And then use the Mac app to transfer your photos.

I hope this is helpful to you! Let us know if you continue having issues. I will be glad to help.

Best,

Enrique
