Stuck at quick introduction

Paul 12 years ago updated 12 years ago 6
Just purchased and installed on my iPad 2 (iOS 4.3.1) and can't get past the quick introduction screen. Swiped from the first screen to the fifth and don't see any way to get past it?

P.S. when swiping between the pages in the quick introduction, the next page is not centred (the right 10% of the page is off to the right of the quick introduction box)
Hi Paul,

Thanks for contacting us. Interesting, maybe it has to do with iOS 4.3.1, let's try couple of things. First leave the app and then double tap the home button to reveal the latest apps that you ran. Then touch over the icon of our app for a few seconds (long press) and then when the little red button appears click on it (to remove the app from the list of running apps). After that, just run the app again and the quick introduction should be gone.

I hope this helps. Let us know,

Best,

Enrique
Photo Transfer App
Hi Enrique,

Thanks for the quick reply, I should have mentioned that that's the first thing I tried lol. Actually tried it twice before posting my problem and relaunching simply brings me back to the quick introduction.

[EDIT] Perhaps you can tell me whether there's a 'x' button or something I should be seeing to help me exit the quick introduction?
Yes, there should be an 'x' button on the top right corner of the popup, can you see it? If not, can you send us an screenshot? That would be helpful to see why the 'x' button is not showing up: support@phototransferapp.com.
Email sent, may take a while to go through. Also included a picture of the quick introduction pages not centering themselves.

Cheers!
I am having exactly the same issue - cannot get past it cannot see an X - very frustrating
Hi Geoff,

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having problems with the app. It seems that we have an issue with the introduction screen when your iPad is still running iOS4.3. The solution to this is to update your iPad to iOS5 or iOS6 which are the most recent versions of the operating system published by Apple. To do that please connect your iPad to the computer you normally sync and update to iOS5 or iOS6.

I hope this helps you! Let me know if you need further assistance.

Best,

Enrique
