Hi Colinn,

Sorry for not responding before! We actually just published an update to the app (version 4.0), please go to the 'App Store' and update the app and try again the process. I hope that will solve your problem.

Photo Transfer App
Hi Herbert,

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having issues with the app. Let's verify a few things. First, open the 'Settings' app on your iPhone and then go to 'Privacy' and then into 'Photos', make sure that our app has access the switch turned on.

Then if that does not help. Please try taking a new photo with your iPhone then going to the 'Photos' app and then back to our app, that should ensure that the photo database on your device is up to date.

I hope this helps, let us know if you continue having problems.

Best,

Enrique
Photo Transfer App
Dear Enrique,

Thanks for your quick reply. First I followed all your advices, but the app still crashed.

Anyway, since your app always crashed when it tried to load the photo folders, no matter what function I had selected (e.g. send to PC, send to Mac, send to other iOS device ) I figured out, that there was probably something wrong with the consistency of the database.

There were some automatically generated subfolders from Hipstamatic, Instagram and Tadaa as well as some empty ones. I deleted them all and guess what, your app accessed the Camera Roll folder without crashing, as I am used to.

Thank you very much for your help, because it was your second hint ("ensure the photo database is up to date"), that brought me finally to an idea that solved my problem. It would have taken much longer without your input.

Many thanks again
Herbert
