Lock up on opening screen "Thumbnails loading"

I can't get the app to hook up so I can browse photos on my i-Phone. It sees the phone (i-Phone 3 running IOS 5) but when I select it it shows a single album titled "null" and it shows a progress indicator saying "Thumbnails loading". I've left it run for 30 minutes and it won't hook up. I'm able to transfer files to the computer (Windows 7 laptop) using the browser but no the app.
Hi Martin,

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having issues with the app. Did you update the app on your iPhone to the latest version (v4.0)? Please make sure that you are running 4.0 on your iPhone by touching the 'About' button on the main screen of the app. To update it use the 'App store' app on your iPhone.

If that does not help then please make sure that you have given permission to our app to read your photos.

I hope this helps you. Let me know if you need more help.

Best,

Enrique

Enrique -
I'm running version 4.0 and I've given it permission to read photos by turning on the "Location Services" switch. After messing with it for about an hour, I finally was able to see my photos on the phone by entering the IP address of the phone in the Manual mode.At that time, the screen on my laptop showed two different icons for my iPhone. I thought I was home free so I downloaded a bunch of photos to my computer. It took several minutes for the download to complete, but when I went to open the JPG files, none of them would open. They were all zero bytes.

Any other suggestions?
Hi Martin,

Sorry you keep having issues. Let's start things from the beginning just to make sure that we didn't miss something. Can you please uninstall the app on your iPhone and re-install it from the App Store? (You won't be charged again). Then run the app and accept the access to photos. And then try to discover the device again from the app on your laptop.

I just want to make sure that all the permissions are given because from what you explain the most likely cause of the problem is not being able to read the photos from the device.

Also, can you double check for me what version of iOS you are using? If you are using iOS6 and not iOS5 then there is another permission that needs to be set.

Let me know how it goes.

Best,

Enrique

Reinstalling the app on the phone seems to have fixed the problem.

FYI - I'm running IOS 5.1.1

Thanks!
