Sol,

Yea :( It's the same with duplicated photos. Apple designed it so that when you transfer photos to your album(s) that it also sends a copy to your camera roll.

We wish Apple handled the photos a little differently.

Please let me know if you have any more questions!

Kind Regards,

Amber
Hello Sol,

I will be more then happy to help you.

Unfortunately Apple does not provide a programming interface to access the edited photo as a full resolution image so this is why when you download your photos to your PC you do not see the edits.

However, if you download the photos in medium resolution which is the resolution that the native 'photos' app uses to display the images on the iDevice screen then your changes should be preserved.

So what you need to do is to select the photos that you want to transfer and then select download in medium resolution from the transfer web page to be able to preserve the changes you made.

We hope that Apple will make an addition to their APIs so we can have a better way to access the photos that you edited directly on the 'Photos' app.

Note: If the above does not work, another solution is to use a different app to transform your photos and then save the changes as a new image on your iDevice, then you can use our app to transfer those edited images back to your computer.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other question or comment.

All The Best,

Amber

Hello Mary,

I will be happy to help you!

What is the length/size of the video? In order for it to transfer it needs to be in a .MOV format. So if you did convert it to a .MOV format, it should be played.

Make sure you are running Quicktime to watch the video. Also, make sure you are running the latest version of quicktime. You can find out here: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

If you have issues with QT then I would recommend using VLC: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html

Please let me know if this helps you!

Hi Ceri,

I will be happy to help you.

I do apologies for the misunderstanding in my previous reply. As stated below and as Enrique pointed out, its a matter of

"when you transfer photos to an iDevice there are 3 versions of the photo that are created: A thumbnail, the original image and what Apple calls a "screen resolution" version which is a medium sized version that is the one used to display on the screen of your device.

So, even if you transfer a huge photo to your device using our app it would not matter in terms of the speed of displaying it. However, as you discovered it the format of the image and how Photoshop saves the JPG's may play a role on how fast the image is rendered on the display even when the medium resolution image is used internally. "

Again, I am sorry for misreading your previous post and I hope the answers provided below where helpful!

Please let us know if I can assist you further!

Kind Regards,

Hello RR,

I will be more then happy to help you.

Apple does not provide a way for 3rd party apps to delete / move your content so our app copies your photos / videos.

If you want to delete your photos then you need to delete them using the Photos app on your iPhone or you can unsync them using iTunes.

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Hello RobiG,

I will be more then happy to help you.

Are you running the latest version of our app 3.3?

Also make sure that you keep the app running while you attempt to connect. I would recommend that you close out the app, force quit it (tap on home twice, hold over our app and hit the red (-) ), launch your photos app first then launch our app.

Once you launch our app try the transfer again.

Please let me know if this helps!

Kind Regards,

Amber
Shalu,

Have you tried closing out your photos app, turning off / on your iDevice, launch your photos app again and then try to delete your albums?

Hello Russell,

Thank you for contacting us, I will be happy to help.

As GV mentioned, if you are using the same iTunes account to install it on your iPad you should be able to download it to your iPhone without charge. Our app is a universal app so if you buy it on one device, using the same iTunes account you can download it to your other device(s) without being charged. It will just act like an update.

So if you go to the app store on your device and search for photo transfer app, you should be able to download it directly.

Please let me know if you have any issues with this! I will be happy to help you!

Kind Regards,

Amber

Dear Richard,

Thank you for posting your question here. I will be happy to help you.

As of right now, even though it doesn't say "Android" device it is still the same process. Please select send / receive -> send to another device. We are working on an update for this!

Also note: Right now our app does not support sending videos from an iDevice to an Android. The codec's are different between the two platforms. We are however trying to work on an update for this.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Kind Regards,

Hello Dick,

I will be more then happy to help you. I am sorry you are having issues with the app.

Did you try downloading the app again directly from the iDevice using the 'App Store'? If yes, then you can try searching for the iDevice using the search function on the first 'app pages'. Click the iDevice's home button and the go to the very fist app page (the one for search), then type 'Transfer' and hopefully the app will show up there. Maybe the app is hidden somewhere inside of a folder?

Another option is to connect your iDevice to your computer using the white USB cable. Then, launch iTunes, select your iDevice from the menu on the left and the go to the 'Apps' tab. Then, scroll on the apps installed and make sure that the checkbox for 'Transfer' (our app) is selected from the menu. Then do a synch again to make sure that the app installs.

Note: Nothing needs to be installed on your PC. You only need to have wifi and a web browser.

I hope this helps!

Kind regards,

Amber
