Sharon,
I am sorry you are having issues with the app, I will be happy to help you.
When you right click and select to download the zip file do you receive any error message? If so, what is it? Or is it just photos_zip couldn't be downloaded?
What program are you using to unzip the files? You should use your default program but if it continues to give you issues you can download winRAR. Its a free zipping program. It will ask you to buy the full edition but you do not have to!
Please let me know the above!
Kind Regards,
Amber

Dear Christina,
Thank you for posting your question here, I will be happy to help you.
That is a very fair question and I will be happy to explain how our app works. If you are concerned about having the location services turned on, our app needs to have the location services turned on in order to transfer photos. Do not worry, we cannot see any of the data collected on any of these photos that you are transferring. As a matter of fact we do not have access to any of your content at all. When you connect your iDevice to your computer using our app it creates a temporary secure network between those two devices alone. Only you have access to it. Nothing is stored online on a temporary server or anything like that. Only you can see / have access to your photo(s).
Just to clarify about location services. Apple requires all apps that need access to the photos stored on the device to have 'Location Services' enabled. This is because some of your photos may be geo-tagged and therefore Apple requests the user to allow the app to read your photos. We do not use that information at all. We take the photo files exactly as they are stored on the device to transfer them intact to the receiving device.
I hope this helps to explain why our app needs to have the location services turned on. If you have any more questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask.
Kind Regards,
Amber

Hello Chris,
Thank you for posting your question here, I will be happy to help you.
Our app allows you to transfer photos from iPad to computer, yes :)
Currently we are working on a potential update for this but as of right now, when you transfer photos that are edited using the native photos app, those edited photos do not show up in the .zip file when you choose to download all photos.
However, you can download them (edits intact) if you click on the resolution of the image you want to view ( low | medium ) and you can right click on the image and save as which will save the edits you did make to the photo.
I hope this has helped answer your questions about the app!
Kind Regards,
Amber

Hello Dave,
I will be happy to help you.
What program are you using to view your photos? Note that if you are viewing your photos on the web browser some pictures will not be rotated on the proper way. This is because the browser can't detect the proper rotation.
To solve this please use the 'Download all photos as zip file' and then open your photos with a image viewing software on your computer. From there, as you mentioned, you can rotate them and 'save' them. The reason why they are rotated is because that is the manner in which you took the photo. Our app transfers your photos exactly as they are stored on your iDevice.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other question!
Kind regards,
Amber

Yes, our app works with the iPad 1. Make sure you are running the latest version of the app 3.3 and iOS5+. The app doesn't need to be installed on your PC. All you need is a web browser!
We have some great walk throughs on our website that show you how the app works. You can find them here:

Maureen,
I apologize for the delay in response, I will be happy to help you.
Currently there is no way to check if the photos are already on the iPad. You will have to check on the 'Photos' app first and then choose the new ones that you wish to transfer.
Please let me know if this helps!

Hello Christine,
I sincerely apologies for the delay in response!
Try to use the web interface to download your files instead of the Mac app. The web interface should allow you to transfer your photos in RAW format from iPad to Mac.
Please let me know if this helps you!

Hello Esperanza,
I'm sorry for the delay in response, I will be happy to help you.
No. You only need to turn on the "use old saving apis" if you are having trouble with the format of your photos. To do so, simply follow the below:
1. Open the 'Settings' app on your device and scroll down until you find our app ('Transfer')
2. Change the switch for 'Use old saving APIs' to ON and close the settings app.
The "reverse order" allows you to save photos in the reverse order when transferring from iPhone to iPad.
Please let me know if this helps!

Hello Mygell,
I'm sorry for the delay in response. I will be happy to help you.
To import to iMovie you need to first transfer the video to your device using our app. Then inside of the iMovie app there is a menu to import videos from the camera roll where you will find the videos that you transferred earlier.
Please let me know if you need any further assistance!

When you use our app and have your photos selected on our website, yes you can view them directly from the website but you should be able to choose to download all the photos as a zip file in full resolution. Do you see the button when you are on our webpage?
It should look something like this:
You can also save the images directly from the webpage as well by clicking on one of the photos resolutions and right click -> save as.
Why do we always have to go to the Ip address to view the photos?
In order to download the photos you have to go to the IP address. From there you can view the photos directly and that allows you a preview of what you have selected and what you want to download.
Viewing the photos is also hard because we can't even rotate the photos
To solve this please use the 'Download all photos as zip file' and then open your photos with a image viewing software on your computer. Picassa desktop for example will be able to show the photos in the correct orientation.
Note that if you are viewing your photos on the web browser some pictures will not be rotated on the proper way.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other question.
Kind regards,
Amber
