Hello Debbie,

Thanks for posting your question here, I will be happy to help.

Are all your photos in a JPG, GIF or PNG format? Our app only allows those formats in order to transfer, so if they are in something different then they will not transfer. Have you tried to clear your selection and then attempt to transfer the same amount of photos again?

Warm Regards,

Amber

Dear Christy,

Thank you for posting your question here, I will be happy to help you.

It shouldn't take long at all to load your albums. Have you tried closing out the app, turning off and on your iDevice to refresh the library? You can also try force quitting the photo app on your iDevice and then relaunching it to see if that also refreshes your library.

Please let me know if this helps!

Warm Regards,

Amber

Hello Clare,

Thanks for your comments. We have created a fix for this issue but we are still waiting for Apple to approve it. We've sent multiple emails to the app review team and everything they say is that we need to wait and that they will be in touch with us. As you can imagine this is very frustrating for us as well, as others pointed out it normally takes just a few days to get an update approved but this time for some reason Apple is taking very very long to do it.

I hope this helps!

Dear Lynette,

I am sorry to hear about your hard drive :(

As of right now, Apple does not provide a way for captions and other modifications to be saved when transferring from a computer to your iDevice(s). Our app transfers your photos exactly as they appear on your device save for special modifications.

I wish there was an easier way that we could accommodate this but when you transfer it doesn't keep that data. :(

Also note our app cannot transfer directly to iPhoto. You have to transfer your photos to your computer first and then import them into iPhoto.

I hope this helps!

Kind Regards,

Amber
Dear James,

I will be happy to help you.

Are your photos in a JPG, GIF or PNG format? Make sure you keep the app running while you attempt to transfer because if you loose connection they will not transfer over.

Have you tried transferring over via wifi?

Kind Regards,

Amber
Hello Ekawa,

I will be happy to help you.

As long as your iPad is connected to the same network as the computer you are trying to transfer those photos too. So your iPad needs to be on the same network as the Mac you are trying to transfer too.

Also make sure your photos are in a JPG, GIF or PNG format.

Please let me know if this helps you or if you need any more help!

Kind Regards,

Amber

Hello Kim,

I will be happy to help you.

Did you install the app directly on your iPad using the App store or did you use itunes? I would recommend installing it again from the app store directly onto your iPad.

If that doesn't work you can install it to itunes and sync your device and see if the app shows up then.

Please let me know if you continue to have problems!

Kind Regards,

Amber

Dear Cynthia,

I am sorry you are having issues with the app, I will be happy to help you.

Try this to solve the 'loading albums' problem:

1. Open the 'Settings' app on your iPhone
2. Go to 'Location Services'
3. Make sure that the switch is turned ON for 'Transfer' (our application)
4. Close the settings app
5. Run Photo Transfer again and check if the albums load (they may take a few seconds to load)

(The reason why location services should be enabled for our app is because on the new version of the iPhone OS photos are now considered a location service since they have the GPS location of the place where you took the photo. So now when accessing your photos the OS requires our app to have permission to use location services).

Another suggestion is to open the 'Photos' app on your iPhone and then simply close it and go to our application again. Opening the Photos app ensures that the photo catalog is refreshed so our app can read it.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you continue having problems. We will be happy to help.

Best regards,

Amber
Photo Transfer App
Hello Kim,

I will be happy to help you.

Our app will allow you to transfer from one iPad to another but you do have to have the app on your new iPad (or old). If you used the same iTunes account it wouldn't charge you twice to install it however, as you mentioned, you are using a different account so you will have to purchase the app twice.

We have a great walk through on our website that shows you how to transfer from iPad to another iDevice: http://phototransferapp.com/help/ipad...

So you need to have the app running on both devices and connected to the same wifi network and you can transfer between the two. You can even transfer via bluetooth.

Please let me know if you have any more questions!

Kind Regards,

Amber
Dear Sol,

When you import photos from an SD Card using the 'Camera connection kit' the images are not saved to the camera roll but to a separate album (( Imports )).

Unfortunately that's only an exclusive feature to Apple (being able to create a new album and putting photos inside of it without having them also on the camera roll).

Our app can definitely read that album but only transfer photos FROM it and not TO because it is protected unfortunately.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any more questions I will be happy to help you!

Kind Regards,

Amber
