I will be happy to help you. Unfortunately Apple does not provide a programming interface to access the edited photo as a full resolution image. However, if you download the photos in medium resolution which is the resolution that the native 'photos' app uses to display the images on the iPad screen then your changes should be preserved.
So basically what you need to do is to select the photos that you want to transfer and then select download in medium resolution from the transfer web page to be able to preserve the changes you made. We hope that Apple will make an addition to their APIs so we can have a better way to access the photos that you edited directly on the 'Photos' app.
Another solution is to use a different app to transform your photos and then save the changes as a new image on your iPad, then you can use our app to transfer those edited images back to your computer.

Yes, you will need to install the app on your iPad/iPhone if you want to transfer between iPhone and iPad. You do not need to pay for the app again if you already purchased it. As long as you use the same Apple ID as you used to originally install the app then you can go to the app store on your iPad/iPhone, look for photo transfer app, and it will treat it like an update.

Please make sure that you are using the latest version of Quicktime player. Also iPhone takes video on high resolution which requires a lot of memory to play on the computer. You can try quitting other apps running on the computer when you try to play the video.

Our app doesn't modify your videos when they are transferred to/from your device to computer. Did you try making sure that your Quicktime was updated?

Also make sure you are on version 2.5.1 of our app for Android!

You should be able to tap on the App Store and then once you are in the app store, at the bottom where the other tabs are, you should be able to see updates. Tap on that and our app should be listed if it needs updating :)

I apologies for the delay in response!
Have you considered updating to the latest iOS for your iPad 3 and iPhone 4s? The latest version is iOS6.
I would recommend that you turn off / on your devices, launch your photos app first then launch our app again. Then click/tap on 'discover devices' a few times. Sometimes it takes a few attempts to establish connection and allowing your wifi network to pick up the broadcast of your device(s).
Also, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app? You can give that a try and see if that alleviates the problem. If you use the same iTunes account you won't be charged twice to install the app again :)
