The app is a universal app so it runs on both your iPod and your iPad. Basically, when you buy it on your iPod or on your iPad, you can download it for FREE on the other device. You can download the app in one device and then sync with iTunes to get the app on both devices or you can simply download it from the app store directly on each device.
Don't worry, you will not get charged the second time you download the app in the other device. Apple knows that you already own the app, so it will treat it only as an update so you won't be charged (even though it says 'buy') as long as you use the same iTunes account in both devices.

Our app allows you to transfer photos and videos from one device to another over wifi! However, as of right now, our app cannot transfer music.
Once you have the app installed on both devices you can also install the mac app which you can learn more about here: http://phototransferapp.com/help/mac/
So since you won't be using the same Apple ID (iTunes account) then you will have to purchase the app on both devices to transfer from one to another. But you don't need to pay for the mac app :)

As of right you can only transfer from iDevice to iDevice via bluetooth. We currently do not support transferring from an iDevice to an Android device.

Also the speed of transfer depends on your ISP ( Internet Service Provider ) and the speed of your internet. Also large videos can take a little bit to transfer over wifi.

Your videos, when transferred from computer to iPad should be in your camera roll or in any albums that you have chosen to have your videos transfer too. So you should be able to look in the photos app and find them there :)

It is possible that the photo database on your device is out of sync. Let's give this a try and see if this helps:
- Open the 'camera' app on your iDevice and just take 1 photo or you can also take a screenshot pressing the home and power button at the same time. This will create a new item on the Camera roll which in turn should force the photos database to be synched.
Then open the 'Photos' app to see the new photo you took and then go to our app to try the transfer again. Hopefully that will fix the problem.
If that does not work try the following:
- Go to this web address to get the instructions on how to enable access to your photos via the 'Privacy settings':

Please follow those instructions and let us know if it worked. Have you tried installing the Mac app? We currently have an app available for the Mac and you can find it here: http://phototransferapp.com/mac/
What version of the app are you running on your device? Are you having any error messages come up when attempting to transfer photos? Or does it just spin and do nothing.
Please make sure that you are on version 4.0 for iOS devices and 2.0 for Mac App. I would recommend closing out the app and relaunching it and trying your transfer again. If you continue to have problems, you can uninstall and reinstall the app on your iPad mini. Also make sure you keep the app running on your iPad mini as well as connected to the same wifi network.
