Are you on the latest version of our app? Please make sure you are running the latest version of our app on your iPad2. The latest version of our app is 4.0.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app? If not, I would recommend trying that if you continue to have the issue of not being able to close the welcome page.

Please make sure you are running the latest version of our app on your iPad. The current version is 4.0. Also we do have a windows app available that you can download here: http://www.phototransferapp.com/win/

This is also most likely due to the 'Privacy settings' on iOS6. When the app gets installed we prompt them for access to their photos, if they say 'No' then we can read albums. So please suggest to check the privacy settings as shown here:

If you had the app installed on your device from before (more than a few days) then please make sure that you update the app on your iPad and on your iPhone, the latest version is v4.0. So, just touch the 'About' button on the main screen of the app and then verify that you have version 4.0 or our app on iPhone and iPad. To update the app just go to the 'App Store' app on your device and touch the 'Updates' tab.

Let's give this a try! For iOS6 the way to authorize apps to access your photos has changed on iOS6. Please go to this web address to get the instructions on how to enable access to your photos via the 'Privacy settings':

iPhone:

Please follow those instructions and let us know if it worked. If not, then you may need to restart our app. To do that, please double tab the 'Home button' of your device until the running apps appear and then hold your finger over our app and then tap the little '-' icon that appears over the icon. After that, launch our app and you should have access to your photos.

Also please note we did push an update for our app and the latest version is 4.0

Please make sure that you have the latest version of our app installed on your iPad and iPhone. The latest version is version 4.0. What is the length/size of your video? When transferring make sure that both devices are running the app and they are both on the same wifi network. You can also try closing out the app, relaunching your photos app first and then try to transfer your video by launching our app and attempting again.

Do you receive any error message? Or does the app just shut down?

The other PC that you tested the app on, is it on another WiFi network perchance? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the desktop app? I would give that a try :) Let me know how it goes with your test.

Please check the 'Location services' settings on both iPads.

Also note: Sometimes if the connection between the devices is lost that error message may appear. If it does try the transfer again to see if the problem continues.
