We are aware of an issue with the introduction screen when your iPad is still running iOS4.3. The solution to this is to update your iPad to iOS5+ for iPad 1st generation (as it cannot upgrade to iOS 6+) which are the most recent versions of the operating system published by Apple. To do that please connect your iPad to the computer you normally sync and update to iOS5. There should be an option to update.
You need to have at least iOS4.3 to at least be able to install the app on your device.
We are looking into this situation but unfortunately Apple has dropped support of the new versions of iOS on iPhone 3G/iPad 1st gen and they dont accept new apps or updates for iOS lower then 4.3.

Please make sure that you keep the app running while you attempt to transfer using our app and launching the IP address. Also, make sure that your device is connected to the same wifi network as the computer you are trying to transfer too. Are you on a home wifi network or a public wifi network? Also make sure you are running the latest version of our app which is version 4.0.
If you are on a home network, I would recommend turning off / on your wireless router to give it a fresh connection and then attempt your transfer again. Make sure you are inserting the IP address into the correct location.
It would look something like this:
After you go to http://connect.phototransferapp.com you will be prompted to put the IP address into the boxes. Make sure you type it exactly as it appears in the app.

You are not receiving any error message? it just loads and says that the transfer was successful but you can't locate your photos? What direction are you transferring to / from? :)

Please make sure that you have enough space on your iPad 4 for the movie. What is the length/size of the video you are trying to transfer?? ( Please note: our app doesn't have a length limit at this time for videos ) Are you running the latest version of our app on your iPad? The latest version is 4.0. Please make sure you are on the latest version and you keep the app running while you attempt to transfer.
Does the app ever time out or close on your iPad? Also make sure you are running version 2.0 for the Mac App. I would recommend closing out the app and relaunching the photos app first then launching our app and attempting your transfer again.

Unfortunately we do not have the resources to provide phone support, so I will do my best to answer any and all questions that you may have here :)
Please note: Our app will not delete or remove anything off your device during transfer. Our app will make a 'copy' of that photo and transfer it over.

Can you please let me know if you are on a home wifi network or a pubic wifi network? Make sure that you keep the app running while you attempt to transfer and that you are on the latest version of the app which is version 4.5 for iDevices.
Another solution you can attempt: Please reset your wifi network and then join the network again from the devices. You can also try using the manual entry option on the Windows App to see if that helps alleviate the issue you are experiencing with not being able to find the devices. I would like to suggest touch "Discover Devices" button a couple of times as sometimes it may take a couple of attempts for the app to discover the devices. Also you can close out the app and start it again, that will force the app to 'broadcast' itself on the network again and then touch "discover devices" button on the other device to try to re-discover it.
Please let me know if this helps or if you continue to experience issues!

Our app cannot transfer directly to iPhoto. You can however use our app by transferring your photos from device to computer and then import them into iPhoto directly :)
