Hello Peter,

Thank you for contacting us here on the forums. I will be happy to assist you with our app!

Yes, you are correct. With the update of the new version of iOS5+ Apple decided to handle albums by duplicating all photos created in albums and sending it to the Camera Roll. We wish that it was handled differently, but unfortunately there isn't anything we can do as it has to do with Apple. Something to note: iTunes can create albums without having photos repeated on the camera roll, unfortunately that is an exclusive function of iTunes when synching. Third party apps like ours need to place the photos in the camera roll and also in the album. However, even when creating new albums directly on the 'Photos' app on the iDevice then then placing photos on the new album those photos are also repeated on the camera roll. So basically, the only way to have photos in their own and only album is synching albums with iTunes.

As far as your question about deleting photos, you can use the app to transfer photos and videos to your PC and any iDevice (and between iDevices) but it doesn't allow you to delete the photos or albums off your iDevice directly. Apple does not allow apps to delete content off your device so you will have to do it manually from the photos app.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance to you!

Warm Regards,

Amber

Hello Fabio,

Thanks for posting your inquiry here with us, I will be happy to assist you with our app!

Unfortunately Apple does not provide a programming interface to access the edited photo as a full resolution image. However, if you download the photos in medium resolution which is the resolution that the native 'photos' app uses to display the images on the iPad screen then your changes should be preserved.

So basically what you need to do is to select the photos that you want to transfer and then select download in medium resolution from the transfer web page to be able to preserve the changes you made. We hope that Apple will make an addition to their APIs so we can have a better way to access the photos that you edited directly on the 'Photos' app.

Another solution is to use a different app to transform your photos and then save the changes as a new image on your iPad, then you can use our app to transfer those edited images back to your computer.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other question or comment.

All The Best,

Hello Daniel,

I will be more then happy to help you with your inquiry.

The photos will be saved in the same sequence as they are selected on the PC or iDevice. The order depends on the order they are selected. So if you select them how you want them ordered on your iPad they should transfer in that sequence. Naturally, in the camera roll when you are viewing your album or camera roll, your photos will show up, newest at the bottom. So if you want them to appear in a particular order, try selecting them in the order you want them to appear as suggested above.

I hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further :)

Hello Kemp,

Thanks for contacting us and posting your inquiry.

If you choose the photos in the order you want them to appear, they should show up in that order when transferred. When you transfer from iPhone to iPad all the header data (like timestamp, GPS, etc) should be retained on photos and videos. How are you reading the time and date of your videos on your iPad/iPhone? What version of our app are you running on your device? Also what iOS are you running on your iPhone and iPad?

What may be happening is that if you are transferring to an older iPad the app needs to re-encode the video so it can be played on the iPad. When doing that it may not be preserving the metadata. We are looking at this issue to try to find a fix for this.

On the iOS7 'Photos' app you can view your photos either via the 'Photos' tab or the 'Albums' tab. On the 'Albums' tab you can see your photos/videos as you did before on iOS6 (via Camera roll or other albums). On the 'Photos' tab they are organized by time so the photos/videos will be arranged according to the 'exif' date which should correspond to the date the photo was taken. One tip is to go to the 'Years' view and drill down from there to the correct date where the photo/video should be.

Please let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions!

You can transfer all the photos within an album using our app! You would need to open up the album and then select all to transfer all the photos in that album. Hello Doug,

Thanks for posting your question here with us, I will be happy to assist you with our app!

Do you know the format that these photos where taken in? In the meantime you can select the photos manually and download them via the "Download Selected" button in the desktop app instead of using the "backup" button. This way you can skip the photos that are causing problems

Please let me know the above, I will be happy to assist!

Hello Sharlotte,

As of right now, if you want to delete photos off your device, our app cannot remove or modify anything on your device so you will have to delete photos manually from the Photos App. If the photos where transferred with our app then you can delete them.

To delete photos you need to tap on the photos app, tap on "Edit" and then from there you can choose the photos you want to delete by tapping on them to select them, then tap on the trashcan icon.

If you synced your photos with iTunes then you need to un-sync them from the photos tab using iTunes when you have your device hooked up to your computer.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Best,

Amber
