I'm sorry for not responding earlier. Unfortunately Apple has not added any programming interfaces to allow the creating or ordering of photos. They release iOS 4 for iPad in November but they still do not allow to arrange photos on folders or albums from a third party application like ours.

We decided to keep our app focused on transferring photos from the native 'Photos' app despite the limitations. However, there are other apps that keep the photos inside of their own space which many people don't like because they can access them from other applications (like photo editing apps).

I'm sorry I didn't have a better answer. We've submitted a feature request to Apple to allow photo album management capabilities from a third party app but so far they haven't released this.

The Belkin router should be fine. What I'm thinking it may be a problem is with the Roku device. We have had other customers with wireless printers having similar issues. We use a technology called 'Bonjour' developed by Apple to discover devices on the network and sometimes it creates conflicts with other devices.

I would recommend to temporarily disconnect your Roku, reset your wifi router and then try the transfer again to see if that helps. This would give us an idea if that is the problem. We are planning to add switch on the next version of the app to enable or disable bonjour discovery to avoid this problem.

Let me know when you have a chance to try the transfer with the Roku out of the network. Remember to reset the router before trying the transfer.

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having problems with the app.

This problem normally is due to an incompatible video format. Our app tries to save the video file but it fails so it just hangs there. How was the video created? Normally all videos created by an iDevice work just fine but we have noticed that some videos created by other cameras or software have compatibility issues some times. Let me know how did you create the video so I can think if there is a way to convert it. Have you tried uploading it a second time? same results?

I'm sorry about this issue. Let me know some details about your video and I hope we can come up with a solution.

Thanks for posting your question here. I'm sorry you are having issues with the app.

What type of router are you using? If you are using an 'Apple Extreme' router make sure that you are using the main network and not the 'guest' network as the guest network blocks the communication between devices.

Also, do you have by any chance a wireless printer connected to your wifi network? We have noticed that some wireless printers (or the 'Time Capsule' hardware) some times prevent the communication.

Please let me know the type of wifi router that you are using so I can check if there is anything that needs to be changed on the configuration to make this work. I will be glad to help you with this.

Thanks for posting your question here. I'm sorry it took me some time to respond.

So, when you go to the Settings app on your iPhone and then go to the General - Location Services screen you can't enable the switch? I believe we had a another customer with the same problem and it had to do with a GPS malfunction on the device. What happens when you open the 'Maps' application on your device and you try the location function? Can the Maps app show where you are? Let me know.

I just answered a comment on a different thread. Did you figure out how to transfer videos from iTouch to iPad? To transfer videos from iTouch to iPad you simply select the videos the same way you would select photos. The videos should have a "video" label on the select screen (thumbnails). The selection counts both photos and videos.

Did you transfer from iPad to computer or from computer to iPad? What type of video file did you upload? I believe we had another customer with a similar issue and it had to do with the format of the video file. How was the video taken? Let me know so we can investigate why the audio is not playing.

Thanks for posting your question here. I'm sorry you are having problems with the app.

What type of video file are you trying to upload to your iPad? Please note that currently we only support videos in .MOV format that are 150MB or less. The problem that you are describing sounds like the video that you are trying to upload is not in the right format which may cause this issue. Can you tell me where did the video come from? From a digital camera? Make sure that the video is in .MOV format to be able to upload it to your device.

Thanks for posting your question here. Yes, the app should work with the 1st. generation iTouch. The only requirement is to have at least iOS version 3.1.3. When you attempt to buy the app from your device you will be notified if the version that you have is compatible or not. If not, then you can simply upgrade to the newest version of the OS when you connect your iTouch to iTunes.

That's correct Cris. If you shoot RAW-only then the app should transfer the RAW files. If they are JPG+RAW then they will be transferred as JPG only.

We hope to have an update in January to be able to select the format that you want to transfer.
