Hi! Unfortunately, from the web browser it would not be possible to automatically start a new download to the computer without the user's intervention. We are looking a different options on how we can implement this but most likely it will require a desktop application controlling the transfer to start pulling new photos from the device.
Hello,

Thanks for posting your question here. Yes, our app puts the videos on the 'Photos' app of your iPad not on the Video library. The photos and videos are saved to the 'Saved photos' album on your iPad or on the 'Camera roll' album if you have an iPad 2.

Please note that currently you can transfer videos up to 400 MB from computer to iPad and they need to be in .MOV or .M4V formats.

I hope this answers your question. Please let us know if you have any other question or comment. We will be happy to help.

Kind regards,

Enrique

Dear Timothy,

Thanks for posting your question here. How long is the video that you are trying to transfer? If it is longer than 5 minutes you may need to make a change on the settings to allow the transfer.

Here is what you need to do if the video is longer than 5 minutes: Open the 'Settings' app on your iPhone and go to the settings for our app ('Transfer') . Then change the limit for the setting 'Max video duration' to 600 seconds (10 mins) or whatever you need. Please note that it may take a while to transfer if the video is very long and that your network may become slow during the transfer.

I hope it will work after this change. Let me know if you continue having problems and tell me if you are getting an specific error message. I will be happy to help.

Kind regards,

Enrique

Hi Bob,

Thanks for posting your question here. Please try this to delete the JPG entries from your iPad:

1. Open the 'Photos' app on your iPad
2. Go to the 'Albums' view and then open the 'Saved photos' album
3. Scroll until you find the JPG icons and use the 'action' button (the one with a little arrow) located on the top right corner of the thumbnails view.
4. Select the JPG entries and then touch delete.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you continue having problems. We will be happy to help.

Kind regards,

Hello,

No, our app transfers your photos at full resolution, we don't modify or reduce the quality of the photos and videos transferred. All files are transferred exactly as they are stored on your device or on your computer.

I hope this answers your question. Please let us know if you have any other question.

Have a nice day!

Regards,

Enrique
Hello,

Thanks for posting your question here. Our app allows to transfer photos and videos from iPhone/Ipad to computer (and vice versa) as well as from device to device. We currently do not suppor transferring photos to a Dropbox account.

I believe that the Dropbox iPhone app will allow you to upload your photos to your account directly from the app.

Let us know if you have any other question or comment.

Kind regards,

Enrique

Hello Hans,

I'm sorry you are still having problems. Most likely your router is configured to block internal communication between devices on the network which is preventing the iPhone and iPad to talk to each other.

One possibility is to check on the configuration page of your router to see if there is a setting that we could change to allow the communication between devices. If you send me the exact model of your router I can search online to see how the configuration pages look like.

The other alternative is to create an 'ad-hoc' network between your computer your iPhone and iPad. Basically your computer would become a wifi spot that you can connect from your iPhone and iPad to avoid going through the router.

To create an ad-hoc network please visit the 'Ideas' section on this forum where you will find the directions on how to create an 'ad-hoc' network using different types of computers.

Let me know the model of your router and if you had a chance to try the 'ad-hoc' route.

Happy new year!! Kind regards,

Enrique

Dear Lori,

Thanks for contacting us. To select multiple photos to upload from PC to iPad you need to press the 'Ctrl' key as you select the photos that you want to transfer. Pressing this key will allow you to select multiple photos at one time from the window that shows the files on your computer.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if this answered your question or if you are have any other question.

Kind regards,

Enrique

Dear Chris,

Thanks a lot for posting your discovery here! The "Speed Downloader" plug-in problem makes a lot of sense to your problem and the symptoms described. The reason why 'Photo Transfer App' was affected with this is because the plug-in most likely affected ALL downloads to your computer using Safari regardless of the location of the website, even if it is an internal network website like Photo Transfer App. Basically, our app creates a small web server that runs on your device and you contact that web server from your computer using the internal wifi network.

Anyways, I'm glad you figure this out!! I appreciate that you posted your solution here.

I wish you a very happy new year! Kind regards,

Enrique
