Thanks for posting your question here and thanks a lot for answering other questions on the forum! We really appreciate it!

We decided to use Flash to be able to select multiple files to upload at one time which is not possible with traditional web forms. However, it looks like HTML5 introduces the ability to select multiple files at one time as well so we may be moving to that or at least provide it as an alternative to Flash. We will be definitely looking into this for the upcoming update of the app.

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having issues with the app.

From the address that you posted it looks like you may be using a public or corporate wifi network. Please note that some public wifi networks like at hotels, corporations or coffee shops are configured to block communication between devices for security reasons which leads into the problem that you are having.

If you are using a home wifi network you could try resetting your wifi router to make sure that all connections get refreshed. After you reset the wifi router you need to join the network again on your device and computer and try the transfer process again.

Please make sure that you are using the address provided inside of our app under the 'PC' tab, the address on the help pages is an example only.

To transfer from device to computer (or vice versa) you only need the app installed on your device, you don't need to install anything on your computer. When you want to transfer from device to device (like iPhone to iPad) then the app needs to be installed on both devices.

Do you know if you have Flash player installed on your computer? We use Flash player to be able to upload multiple files at one time. Please go to this website and install (or update) flash player:

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

After you install the latest version of flash player you should be able to view the 'Upload' button on the transfer web page. You can also try using a different web browser like Google Chrome, Safari or Firefox.

Are you getting an specific error message when you try to transfer from device to device? To transfer photos from iPhone to iPad you need to have the app installed on both devices (you only pay once to install it in both when using the same iTunes account on both devices). Then, after the app is installed on your iPhone and your iPad you need to start the app on both devices and go to the 'Device' tab to select and transfer your photos from one device to another.

The devices should detect each other. The only requirement is for both to be connected to the same wifi network. Here is a video that shows how the app works to transfer photos from iPhone to iPad:

You can also transfer your photos over Bluetooth by touching the 'Use bluetooth' link on the 'Device' screen.

Dear Fred,

Thanks for posting your question here. I'm sorry you are having problems using the app. To transfer from iMac to iPad you need to follow a very similar procedure as on the other direction. Go to the address provided inside of the app and use the 'Upload photos' button on the bottom of the transfer web page to select the photos that you want to transfer. Thanks for posting your question here. Here is what you need to do if your video is longer than 5 minutes:

Open the 'Settings' app on your iPhone and go to the settings for our app ('Transfer') . Then change the limit for the setting 'Max video duration' to 900 seconds (15 mins) or whatever you need. Please note however, that it may take quite a while to transfer if the video is very long and that your network may become slow during the transfer.

Thanks for posting your problem here. I'm really sorry you are having problems with the app.

The first thing to check is to make sure that your iPhone and your computer are connected to the same wifi network. Once you checked that iPhone and computer are connected to the same wifi network you need to launch our app on your device and then go to the address provided inside of the application using your computer's web browser.

Please make sure that you keep the app running on your device and that you type the address exactly as it appears on the app including the 'http://' and the ':8080' parts. Please note that sometimes it takes couple of attempts to establish communication, if it does not get connected within the first few seconds then stop your browser and try the address again.

If the problem persists, you could also try resetting your wifi router to make sure that all connections get refreshed. After you reset the wifi router you need to join the network again on your iPhone and try the transfer process again.
