Dear Peter,

Thanks for posting your idea here, we appreciate your feedback. Our app works in the background already. An ongoing transfer will continue if you quit the app and use other applications. However, we can't leave the app running to accept new transfers because Apple does not allow this. The multi-tasking functions on iPhone/iPad is limited to 'complete' and ongoing task but is not meant for apps to stay on all the time.

I hope this answers your question. Please let me know if you have any other comment or suggestions, your feedback is always welcome!

Regards,

Enrique

Dear Susan,

Thanks for posting your questions here. I'm sorry you are having problems with the app.

The error you described usually means that the photo catalog on the iPad is not up to date. I would recommend you to try to open the 'Photos' app before you start a transfer to make sure that the photo catalog is up to date. Opening the photos app forces the database to get updated, then, try to transfer your photos again using our app. Sometimes the photo database needs to be updated before a transfer takes place otherwise the 'Photos' app interface returns an error.

If that does not work then, try this:

1. Open the 'Settings' app on your device and scroll down until you find our app ('Transfer')

2. Change the switch for 'Use old saving APIs' to ON and close the settings app.

Doing this will tell our application to use the old programming interfaces provided by Apple to save your photos. It looks like the new programming interface provided in the last SDK is having some problems with certain photos. I hope that will fix the problem you are having. Let me know when you have a chance to try this out.

To delete the photos with the JPG icon you can touch the 'action' button on the top right corner of the thumbnails view to select the photos you want to delete.

I hope this helps. Please let me know how it goes. I will be very happy to assist you.

Kind regards,

Enrique

Dear Gary,

Thanks for posting your question here. I would suggest to try to download the app directly on your iPod using the 'App Store' app on the device. Don't worry, you will not be charged again as long as you use the same iTunes account that you used to buy the app on iTunes. Once you own an app you are free to install it again for free as long as you use the same iTunes account.

Downloading the app directly on your device should make it available there inmediatly. Please let me know if you need more help. I will be glad to assist you.

Kind regards,

Enrique

Hello,

Thanks for posting your question here. What version of the iOS are you using on your iPad? Please make sure that you update to iOS5 to be able to select an album when uploading photos. This function is only available on iOS5.

I hope this helps! Let us know if you need further assistance.

Kind regards,

Enrique

Hello. Does the thumbnail of the video appear on the web page? If yes, there should be a link to download the video right under the thumbnail. Please note that you need to download the video individually. One thing you can try to do is to right-click the video instead of clicking it directly and then choosing 'save target as..' (or similar) which should allow you to select the place on your hard drive where you want to save it.

I hope this helps!

Enrique
Hi Graham,

Try to re-install your flash player plugin to see if that helps:

Maybe you have an older version of the flash player and installing a new one can help.

Hi Steve,
Please try to restart your device by holding the power button for couple of seconds. Maybe there is something stuck with the app store purchase and that's why you are having the problem. After you restart the device try to download the app again and let us know if the problem persists.

Dear Rich,

Thanks for posting your question here. What program are you using to view your photos? Some older viewers don't read the rotation headers correctly. Also did you transfer them in full resolution or medium resolution? We've noticed that sometimes photos in medium resolution are not rotating correctly when they are imported from another source. Try transferring them again in full resolution and let us know if the problem persists. I will be happy to help.

Best regards,

Hello,

Thanks for submitting your idea! We really appreciate your feedback. Unfortunately however, the iPad only accepts a few video formats. The FLV video format (Flash Video) belongs to Adobe and it can only be played using Flash Player which is not present on the iPad :(

The AVI format is a container format introduced by Microsoft and it can't be played by the iPad either. You can try converting an AVI video file to MOV format but I believe you wold require an separate software to do it (Maybe Quick Time can do this). Let us know if you need more information on how to convert from AVI to MOV and we can research that for you.

Sorry I didn't have better news. We are limited by the formats accepted by the iPad for now. Thanks again for your suggestion and please let us know if you have any other idea or comment!!

Kind regards,

Enrique
