Hi Ron,

Sorry for the confusion. After you created the album on your iPad you can simply click on the 'Upload to album' button on the bottom bar and that will show you a file selector window that should allow you to navigate on your computer to select the photos that you want to upload. After you select the photos that you want to upload the transfer will start and when is completed the photos will be located on the 'Photos' app of your iPad. I hope this is a bit more clear. Thanks for contacting us. Interesting issue, I wonder if there is some type of security software installed on your Mac that may be preventing the mac app to work properly. Are you able to create folders using the web browser? Also, when connecting via the Mac app, do you see a screen on your iPad that says 'Connected to ''? And one more question, what version of OSX are you running on your Mac?

The app should work with Lion on your iMac. Please tell us what type of issue you are experiencing with the Mac app so we can check if there is a bug or offer other suggestions. Also, you can try transferring with the web interface as well if you keep having issues with the Mac app.

Does this happen with all photos that you are trying to transfer? Have you tried transferring other photos stored on your device to see if the problem happens? This error happens when the iPad can't process the data stored on the file. Also, if you can send us a sample image that has problems to our support inbox that would be useful to look at where the problem may be: support [at] phototransferapp [dot] com

We don't have any known issue with iOS6.1, we have done testing on iPad and iPhone and there is no known issue with iOS6.1 and our app. Can you tell us a bit more information on the crash you are seeing? Is ours the only app that is crashing for you after the update to iOS6.1. I would suggest a reboot of the iPad to make sure that everything is refreshed.

Hi Sebastian,

Currently this is not possible. You can do it manually by creating the albums on iPad first and then uploading photos to each one. I have written your question on our roadmap planning document because I believe it is a very good suggestion. We will look at it and see how we can implement it for a future version of the app.

Thanks for contacting us and sorry you are having problems with the app. Can you tell me what type of wifi network you are using? This error is most likely due to a network connection problem between the device and your computer.

We are actually in the process of releasing an updated version of the Windows Client which should help with these type of problems. If you want we can send you a pre-release version of the app so you can test it and hopefully it will solve the issue you are having. If you are interested please send us an email to support [at] phototransferapp [dot] com referencing this thread and we will send you a link so you can download the updated app.

Let me know what type of wifi network you are using and email us to get the link for the updated app.
