Error – Load Album Contents

Hi,

I have a problem transfering my photos from my Iphone to my computer. I have installed the XP version of Photo Transfer App on my computer and the iphone app on my Iphone 4. After succeeding discovering my device (Iphone), I click on an album in the Photo Transfer App so I can start the transfer process. But I get this message:

« Error – Load Album Contents

There was an error communicating with the device. Please make sure that you are using the latest version of photo transfer App on the device and that it is connected to the same wifi network. »

I have an Iphone 4 (A1332 GSM model), with the 6.1.3 version of the system software.
The Photo Transfer App version is v.2.0. I downloaded it yesterday from your website.
Windows XP is family edition Service Pack 3 version 2002
My Iphone and computer are conneted on my home network.

Yesterday, I was able to transfer a few videos but since then, I keep getting this ** Error – Load Album Contents ** message when I click on any album from my computer Photo Transfer App.

I can’t install the system 7 update for my Iphone, because there is not enough space (which is why I bought Photo Transfer App to be able to delete some photos from my Iphone).

Furthermore, I have verified my name in the INFORMATION section of my Iphone. One letter of my name (which is french) had an accent : André Chiasson. So I spelled it : Andre Chiasson.. I closed both applications before trying again.

I tried to transfer photos again, and I still keep getting the same error message.

Would you have any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi Andre,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry you are having problems with the app. Can you tell me what type of wifi network you are using? This error is most likely due to a network connection problem between the device and your computer.

We are actually in the process of releasing an updated version of the Windows Client which should help with these type of problems. If you want we can send you a pre-release version of the app so you can test it and hopefully it will solve the issue you are having. If you are interested please send us an email to support [at] phototransferapp [dot] com referencing this thread and we will send you a link so you can download the updated app.

Let me know what type of wifi network you are using and email us to get the link for the updated app.
