Transfer Error

I am trying to transfer photos from a Samsung Facinate phone to iPad 2. Everything works fine until I start the transfer and the an error message pops us. It says "Transfer error: Ouch. I'm having trouble downloading the asset '2012-12-3117.41.58.jpg." Any ideas on how to make this work?

I tried your suggestion several times and still receive the same error message on the iPad. Any other suggestions?

Hi Kristin,

Does this happen with all photos that you are trying to transfer? Have you tried transferring other photos stored on your device to see if the problem happens? This error happens when the iPad can't process the data stored on the file. Also, if you can send us a sample image that has problems to our support inbox that would be useful to look at where the problem may be: support [at] phototransferapp [dot] com

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having problems with the app and sorry it took us very long to respond.

Have you tried making the transfer again? I would suggest you to open the 'Photos' app before starting the transfer to make sure that the photo database is up to date. This error comes sometimes when the database falls behind and the write is not possible. So please try starting the 'Photos' app on your iPad and then attempt the transfer again.
