Hi Howard,

Thanks for contacting us. Our app transfer photos exactly as they are stored on the iPhone including the EXIF headers. However, if you download a single image from the web browser or use 'right-click + save as' over one image on the web browser it may not save the headers since the browser takes just the image information and ignores the headers.

So, we recommend you to always use either the zip download or the desktop app to transfer your photos and ensure the EXIF headers are present.

I hope this is useful. Let us know if you have any other question or comment.

Enrique

Excellent! Glad to hear! :)
Hi Jerry,

YES, definitely you can transfer photos from your iPhone 4S to your iPad running 5.1.1 with our app. There is only 1 feature that is not enabled on devices running iOS5 which is to be able to browse photos stored on your iPhone 4s from your iPad but you can simply first select the photos you want to transfer from iPhone and then get them on the iPad. You can see how this works here:

I hope this helps you and we hope the app will be useful to you! Let us know if you have any other question or comment.

One minor correction to the answer above. We are looking on how to implement this functionality, it is not a limitation from Apple but our software. However you can create an album with the same name on your iPhone and iPad and then transfer all the photos in the album with Photo Transfer App.

Enrique
Hi Malcolm,

It depends how you create the Albums. If you create the albums via our app you can definitely add more photos to them whenever you want. If you create the albums via iTunes then you won't be able to add photos to them via our app because they are only editable via iTunes.

Again, we can only 'Add' photos to albums but not move/replace/delete photos inside of them. I hope this helps!

One other suggestion for this problem is to try to convert the video to MOV format using this tool which allows to convert to the right format/resolution for an specific devices:

One quick note regarding the move/delete functionality: we would love to provide this functionality but Apple does not allow to move or delete photos from third party apps - these functions are reserved to the 'Photos' app only, no third party app can do it.

Hi Mike,

One more note to this. It seems that we have an issue with the introduction screen when your iPad is still running iOS4.3. The solution to this is to update your iPad to iOS5 or iOS6 which are the most recent versions of the operating system published by Apple. To do that please connect your iPad to the computer you normally sync and update to iOS5 or iOS6.

I hope this helps you! Let us know if you need further assistance.

Enrique
