Dear LS,
No problem at all :)
It is sent directly from your iDevice to computer and computer to iDevice. You use the IP address ( created by your router ) to use as a platform to view and download your files and content.
So the only person who can see them would be you (or anyone else who can look at your screen / monitor ). Again nothing is stored on a website or server anywhere. The files are not going anywhere else or onto any outside local network.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions! I am happy to help!
Kind Regards,
Amber

Hello LS,
Thank you for posting your question here, I will be happy to help you.
Our app does not operate using servers so your content (photos / videos) are not stored on any server or network of any kind when you are transferring between devices. There is no public access to your files at all.
Your device and computer create a network between devices and with that, only you can see the content being transferred. We do not haves access to your personal files, photos, videos or content because of that unique connection created between your devices. So the only people who can see your photos i anyone looking physically at your computer screen.
I wanted to mention that we have included a feature to password protect the access to the transfer web page. If you wish to enable this then simply open the 'Settings' app on your device and scroll down until you find the settings for our app (listed as 'Transfer'). Then you can go to 'Web page password' entry and enable access.
I hope this helps answer your question! Please let me know if I can assist you further!
Kind Regards,
Amber

Hello Claudette,
Thank you for posting your question here, I will be happy to help you.
When you transfer photos from our website (from device) you can choose how you want to download your photos. Full resolution or medium resolution. Regardless, once you click on either of those icons you should receive a .zip file on your desktop labeled "photos.zip". Are you able to locate it there?
If not then it will be in whatever folder you have designated for your online content to go once you download it. If you are not sure where this might be then you can use the 'search' function on your computer. In the field just type: photos.zip.
I also suggest to right-click the download photos link to be able to select a destination where to save the files.
Please let me know if this helps or if you can't locate your files!
Kind Regards,
Amber

Dear Judy,
Thank you for posting your question here, I will be happy to help you.
What type of wifi network are you using? Home or Public? Can you please send to us the IP address that our app is giving you to our support email? info[at]phototransferapp.com
If you are using a home wifi network, I would recommend that you close out the app and webpage, and restart your wifi router to give it a fresh connection. Once it reboots relaunch everything and attempt your transfer again.
I hope this helps!

Dear Diana,
Thanks for posting your question here, I will be happy to help.
Our app only supports JPG, GIF or PNG formats for photos. Can your friend email them to your in the JPG format? Just zip all the photos to compress it and then send it to you not in a PDF?
If not you can change the extension file from PDF to JPG. So it should look like filename.jpg.
Kind Regards,
Amber

Dear Bcgullett,
Yes. In order to transfer from one iDevice to another you need to have the app installed on both devices. However if you use a different iTunes account you will have to pay for the app again.
If you use the same iTunes account to download the app on another iDevice it will not charge you. It will simply act like an 'update'.
I hope this helps!
Warm Regards,
Amber

Dear Arlene,
Thank you for contacting us, I will be happy to help.
The app transfers the photos in full resolution in both directions from iPhone to computer and from computer to iPhone. The photos get reduced only when using iTunes. Our app preserves the full resolution image on the device. When viewing an image on the device Apple internally uses a reduced version of the image to be displayed on the screen (To avoid loading the full resolution image on the device) but the full resolution representation is still there. It is simply not used for displaying on the screen. That is how Apple designed the "Photos" app and unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it.
I hope this helps!
Warm Regards,
Amber

Thank you for contacting us, I will be more then happy to help you! I am sorry you are experiencing issues with the app.
Did you transfer the video to your computer? or your iDevice? What did you use to take the video with? What version of iOS are you running and what version of our app are you running? :)
If you are trying to play the video on your computer make sure that you are viewing it in QuickTime. Make sure you are running the latest version of quicktime. To check you can go here: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
If you have issues with QT then I would recommend using VLC: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html
Please let me know if this helps you!
