Hello Belden,

Thank you for posting your question here, I will be happy to help.

Our app allows you to transfer photos/videos (note: it cannot transfer videos from an Android to an iDevice with the same app because the codec's are different) between Android and computer, computer to Android and Android to Android as long as you have the app installed on your Android.

Nothing needs to be installed on your Mac in order to use our app. It requires a wifi connection and both computer and Android need to be on the same network.

We have some great walk throughs / information on our website which you can find here: www.PhotoTransferApp.com

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Kind Regards,

Amber

Hello tlarrew,

Thank you for posting your question here, I will be happy to help you.

In order to transfer photos from your device to your computer both need to be connected to the same wifi network. So in order to transfer you would have to have your computer with you to transfer the photos using a wifi network.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Kind Regards,

Where the photos taken with your iDevice or where they transferred or taken with another camera or modified in any software? Can you try selecting a few photos and attempt the transfer again and see if this photos don't transfer over?

Are you using the latest version of our app? 3.0.1?

Thanks!

Dear Dave,

Thanks for posting your question here, I will be happy to help you.

Are your photos in a JPG, GIF or PNG format? Did you transfer them using our app and where you using a wifi network and not connected via cable? Please note our app transfers via wifi and not cable :)

If you cannot find your photos in the photo app of your iPad then I would recommend closing out Photo Transfer and relaunching it again along with our website and attempt your transfer once more.

Let me know if you still can't find your photos!

Kind Regards,

Dear o2bnna,

Thanks for posting your question here, I will be happy to help you.

Are you on a home wifi network or a public wifi network? If you are on a home wifi network I would recommend that you refresh the connection by resetting the router for 10 seconds ( Turning it off then back on ). Make sure you keep the app running while you attempt to connect. Please note, it can take a few attempts to establish a connection.

You can also try force quitting the app and relaunching it and attempting your transfer again.

If you still have issues, can you tell me the make and model of your wifi router?

Kind Regards,

Amber

Dear Jay,

Thank you for posting your question here. I will be happy to help.

The app transfers the videos in full resolution in both directions from iPad to computer and from computer to iPad.

Our app preserves the full resolution image/video on the device. Did the quality suffer as a result of the transfer? Was the video taken on an iDevice and transferred? Did you make any modifications to the video using any type of software? Are you using QuickTime to view the video?

Also, what is the length/size of the video you transferred?

Please let me know the following, I will be more then happy to assist you.

Warm Regards,

Amber

Hello Brooklands,

Thank you for posting your question here, I will be happy to help you.

Have you tried plugging your iPad directly into your computer and when iTunes launches, use the App store to update our app? You can also try uninstalling and reinstalling it on your iPad directly and then reinstall it using the App store on your iPad.

Are you trying to update using a home wifi network or a public wifi network? If you are using a home wifi network make sure you are connected to your wifi and that you have a strong connection. To ensure this, be as close to your router as possible to make sure you have a strong signal. If you are still having issues you might want to restart your router and then try the update again.

Please let me know if this helps!

Hello Chris,

Thank you for posting your question here, I will be happy to help you.

As of right now Apple does not provide a way for us to allow you to transfer full albums so you will have to transfer the photos inside albums/folders.

You can select multiple photos to transfer. To select multiple photos to upload from computer to your iPad you need to press the 'Ctrl' key on windows or the 'Apple' key on mac as you select the photos that you want to transfer from your computer. Pressing this key will allow you to select and transfer multiple photos at one time.

Note: You can change the default number of photos to transfer from 200 to whatever you need but be aware that it might take a while to transfer large batches of photos. ( To change default setting: Settings -> Transfer -> Photo Limitation ( change the # ) ).

Please let me know if this helps!

Hello J.,

Thank you for posting your question here, I will be happy to help you.

Are all your photos in a JPG, GIF or PNG format? (Note: It can also transfer raw photos as well) Our app only allows those formats in order to transfer, so if they are something different then they will not transfer.

Have you tried to clear your selection and then attempt to transfer the same amount of photos again? Did you happen to edit the photos in any other software or app before attempting to transfer?

You can also try closing out the app and relaunching it, as well as closing out your photos app and relaunching it to give your library a 'refresh' then attempt your transfer again. Let me know if you are still having the same issue with not all photos transferring over.

Thanks!

Warm Regards,

Amber
