Hello Brett,

My apologies for not getting back to you sooner.

Are you using the Mac app to transfer photos? Also I would like to suggest that you look into not replacing any files if they share the same name already on the same location.

Please let me know how I can assist you further if need be and I will be happy to do so :)

Kind Regards,

Amber
Hello Chito,

Thanks for posting your question here, I will be happy to help you.

The IP address you posted in the topics title doesn't look correct. Make sure you type it exactly as it appears in the app. So it should look something like this: http://192.168.1.5:8080. Note: this is just an example.

Make sure you do not bookmark the IP address as it is subject to change. If you bookmark it, it might not work. If you are receiving a different website then that means that you're typing the address in the search engine. Make sure you are typing it in the address bar of your web browser.

Please let me know if this helps!

Kind Regards,

Hello Karla,

Thank you for posting your question here, I will be happy to help you.

When selecting from Android the icon you would use would be the send/receive button. Even though it doesn't say "Android" on it, its the same process :)

We have a great walk through tutorial that shows you how to transfer from an Android Device / iDevice to an Android: http://phototransferapp.com/help/andr...

Make sure that you have your Android and iPad sharing the same wifi network. If you are trying to transfer using bluetooth make sure you have bluetooth enabled on both devices and keep the app running on both devices otherwise they will not be able to find one another.

Please let me know if this helps or if you have further questions!

Kind Regards,

Dear Cdr,

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having problems with the app. I will be happy to help.

We've noticed that sometimes the iPad has trouble saving photos that are in very high resolution, so maybe a good test would be to resize one of your photos that are not transferring correctly before uploading them to the iPad to see if that helps. Do you know what size are the files of your photos?

I have another suggestion that may help with the problem you are having. Please follow this instructions to enable a workaround that should help solving the issue:

1. Open the 'Settings' app on your iPad and scroll down until you find our app ('Transfer')

2. Change the switch for 'Use old saving APIs' to ON

Doing this will tell our application to use the old programming interfaces provided by Apple to save your photos. The old programming interface is more forgiving in terms of photo format and size.

Let me know how it goes when you try to reduce the resolution before uploading.

Kind regards,

Amber

HI Takoda,

Thanks for posting your question here. I'm sorry you are having trouble with the app.

Are your videos in a .MOV format? What is the length and size of the videos you are trying to transfer? Did you modify the videos in anyway with any software?

Please let me know the following, I will be happy to help :)

Hello Rae,

I will be happy to help you. Thank you for posting your question here.

I am sorry to hear you are having issues with the app. I would recommend that you close out our app and launch your photos app first. Once you launch the Photos App then launch our app. This will be sure that your photos library will restore the data.

Make sure you are running the latest version of our app as well. It is 3.3.

Please let me know if this helps or if you continue to experience the same issue.

Kind Regards,

Amber

Hello Brittany,

Thank you for posting your question here, I will be happy to help you.

Our app uses temporary data when transferring and more notably when transferring large files like videos ( larger videos ) but this should clear out when you close the app. If it doesn't you might have to uninstall and reinstall the app. This will alleviate that issue :)

As far as your question about the movie not transferring. Did our app prompt you saying the video transferred successfully? Did you happen to modify the video on your iPhone? Also, just curious, what is the length / size of your video that you are trying to transfer?

Please let me know the above!

Kind Regards,

Amber

Hello KSal,

I apologize for not getting back to you quickly. I will be happy to help you.

In the settings of synching on iTunes make sure you are selecting all the photos/albums that you want to sync with iPhoto and your new device. If you see the photos on your computer then our app transferred them correctly and the files should be there.

Please let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions!

Kind Regards,
