Your comments

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to give you an update on the video transfer issues. We submitted an update to Apple couple of days ago and we are still waiting for them to review it. We hope they will do that soon. The update should fix the issues of uploading videos from computer to device as well as video transfers from iPhone 4S to iPad 1 and iPhone 4S to iPhone 4 or 3GS.

Thanks again for your patience! I will post something here as soon as we hear from Apple.

Kind regards,

Enrique

HI Sharon,

Thanks for posting your question here. To save albums into different albums you need to have your iPad running iOS5, did you already installed iOS5?

Then, you need to simply run the app, go to the address provided using your computer's web browser and then use the 'Create new album' form on the bottom of the page to create a new album and to select existing albums.

I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions or comments.

Best,

Enrique

Hi Richard,
Thanks for your comment. Did you take those videos with your iPhone 4 originally? They should normally be on MOV format when you transfer them to your computer. You should not need to convert them to QuickTime if they are already in MOV format. One thing that I would suggest is to make sure that you launch the 'Photos' app before you start a transfer with our app. Sometimes the photo database needs to be refreshed before the start of the transfer to avoid the compatibility problem. Also, if you keep having issues try to transfer your videos 1 at a time to see if that helps. I hope this is useful!

Regards,

Enrique
Dear Vanessa,

Thanks for posting your question here. I'm sorry you are having problems with the app. Do you know what iPad OS version you have installed? You can find this out by opening the 'Settings' app on your iPad and then going to 'Genera' -> 'About' -> 'Version'.

If you have version 4.2 or older then you need to select the photos directly inside of the application using the 'Select photos and videos' button under the 'PC'/'Send' tab. You can follow this video that shows you how to transfer from iPad to Computer:

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you continue having problems. If you do please send me the version of the iPad OS that you have installed. I will be happy to help.

Dear Bob,

Thanks for contacting us. To transfer photos from your computer to your iPad/iPhone you need to have direct access to the JPG photo files. If your photos are on your iPhoto library then I would recommend to create a temporary folder on your computer, and then, simply drag and drop the photos that you want to transfer from iPhoto to the temporary folder. Once the JPG files are on the temporary folder then open Photo Transfer on your iPhone and go to the address provided. Finally, use the 'Upload pictures' button on the transfer page to select the JPG files from the temporary folder you created.

I hope this helps you. Please let me know if that worked or if you have any other question or comment. We will be glad to help.

Enrique
Photo Transfer App
Dear Ian,

Thanks for posting your question here. Our app should be able to transfer your JPG+RAW photos to your mac. You actually don't need to install anything on your Mac. The only thing you need is a web browser like Safari or Google Chrome.

Launch the app on your iPad 2, select the photos that you want to transfer (from your imported albums) and then go to the address provided inside of the app. Then, you should have an option to download the JPG or RAW versions of your photos on the transfer web page.

I hope this helps you. Please let us know if you continue having problems. We will be glad to help.

Photo Transfer App
Hello,

Thanks for posting your question here. You need to install the app on your iPhone and your iPad but you only pay once.

The app is a universal app so it runs on both your iPhone and your iPad. Basically, when you buy it on your iPhone or on your iPad, you can download it for FREE in the other device. You can download the app in one device and then sync with iTunes to get the app on both devices or you can simply download it from the app store directly on each device.

Don't worry, you will not get charged the second time you download the app in the other device. Apple knows that you already own the app, so it will treat it only as an update so you won't be charged (even though it says 'buy') as long as you use the same iTunes account in both devices.

I hope this answers your question and I hope the app will be useful to you. Let us know if you have any other questions or comments.

Kind regards,

Enrique

Hello,

Thanks for posting your question here. To transfer your videos from your iPhone to your computer you follow the same procedure as with photos except that on the transfer web page you need to download your videos individually.

Once the transfer web page loads you can then download each video. To do that you can right-click the link to the video and then choose 'Save linked file as' (or similar) to be able to choose a place on your hard drive to save the video.

I hope this makes sense. Please let us know if you have any other question or comment. We will be happy to help.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for posting your question here. Normally, transferring one photo from iPhone to iPad over Bluetooth it should take no more than 10 seconds. The transfer should be quite fast.

What type of photo are you trying to transfer? Is it a photo that you took with the iPhone or was it imported using iTunes to your iPhone?

I would recommend you to close the app on our device, then, open the photos app on your iPhone and then launch our app again and try the transfer. Opening the photos app on your iPhone before trying a transfer is important because it ensures that the photo database is updated.

By the way, we just released version 2.3 so you may want to update the application on your iPhone and your iPad to have the latest version.

I hope this helps. Please let ius know if you continue having problems and if you do please send us some information about the photo that you are trying to transfer. We will be happy to help.

Kind regards,

Enrique
