Dear Pelayo Herrero,

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with the app. I will be more then happy to assist you.

Make sure you keep the app running when you attempt to transfer the video. What is the length/size of the video?

Also note In order for it to transfer it needs to be in a .MOV format. If it is longer than 5 minutes you may need to make a change on the settings to allow the transfer. Here is what you need to do if the video is longer than 5 minutes: Open the 'Settings' app on your iPhone and go to the settings for our app 'Transfer'). Then change the limit for the setting 'Max video duration' to 600 seconds (10 mins) or whatever you need. Please note that it may take a while to transfer if the video is very long.

If you continue to have problems and none of the above is working, then An Important update regarding the video issue: We discovered a bug with the video upload function that is causing a issue with some video uploads which is causing the problem that you are experiencing. We already published a fix for it and we are currently waiting on Apple to approve it. I apologize sincerely for this issue. Thanks for your patience. I will get back to you as soon as the update is released.

Here is a screenshot of the current status of the app on the iTunes connect portal just so you know that we are completely transparent about this:

Dear Annie,

Thank you for posting your question here, I will be more then happy to help you.

Make sure you are typing the address in the address bar of your web browser and not google search engine. That would result in you getting a page with a bunch of IP addresses on them.

I would recommend you to double check that your iPhone and computer are connected to the same wifi network as sometimes the iPhone may join automatically another nearby network. Also, are you using a home wifi network or a public wifi network?

If you verified that they are in the same wifi network then you could try using the alternate address that appears on your iPhone when you launch our app (the one that says for Windows computers with a few numbers). Please note that sometimes it takes couple of attempts to establish communication.

Also, please make sure that you keep the app running on your device and that you type the address exactly as it appears on the app including the 'http://' and the ':8080' parts.

Finally, you could also try resetting your wifi router to make sure that all connections get refreshed. After you reset the wifi router you need to join the network again on your iPhone and try the transfer process again.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you continue having problems, if you do please send me the address that you are getting to check if it looks ok. I will be very happy to help.

Kind regards,

Amber

We already fixed it and we published an update to Apple so we are waiting for Apple to approve it. Apple takes a few days to approve an update so we expect the update with this fix to be available very soon. I apologize sincerely for this issue. Thanks for your patience.

Dear Cornia,

Thanks for contacting us, I will be more then happy to help you.

On the new version of our app, it allows you to 'favorite' or 'bookmark' certain instructions so when you launch the app it goes directly to that page of instructions or screen.

Did you favorite or 'bookmark' the page and instructions you are stuck on when you launch the app? This would be indicated by a star at the top right corner of the screen right next to the 'help' button. Also have you tried to close the app and relaunch it, does the same screen appear?

Please let me know if this helps!

Warm Regards,

Amber

Hello,

Thanks for contacting us, I am sorry you are having issues with our app. I'll be more then happy to help you.

Did you try downloading the app directly from the iTouch using the 'App Store'? Have you uninstalled the app and reinstalled using iTunes or directly on your iTouch? You are running 3.0 of the app and iOS5?

Another option is to connect your iTouch to your computer using the white USB cable. Then, launch iTunes, select your iTouch from the menu on the left and the go to the 'Apps' tab. Then, scroll on the apps installed and make sure that the checkbox for 'Transfer' (our app) is selected from the menu. Then do a synch again to make sure that the app installs.

I hope this helps. Please let me know how it goes. I will be glad to continue assisting you.

Kind regards,

Amber

Dear Graham Marsden,

Thanks for posting your question here. I will be more then happy to help you.

You can try quitting the app to refresh the connection on your iDevice. Go to the Settings app and turn off wifi, then turn it back on and join your network again. Then, launch our app and use the address that appears on your device from your computer's web browser and try the transfer again. Do you get the same result?

Also make sure that your photos are in a JPG, GIF or PNG format. Those are our apps supporting photo formats.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you continue having problems, I will be very happy to help.

Kind regards,

Amber

Dear Drlamourelle,

Thanks for contacting us. You actually don't need to have anything installed on your computer. As long as you still have the app installed on your iPhone/iPad you should be able to transfer photos. On your computer you only need a web browser like Internet Explorer/Safari/Chrome, etc. to transfer photos.

You can view some videos that show how the app works on our website: http://www.phototransferapp.com/

I hope this helps you. Please let us know if you have any other question or comment. We will be happy to help.

Dear Stefunny01,

Thanks for contacting us, I will be more then happy to help you.

Our app allows you to transfer photos from iDevice to iDevice, iDevice to computer and visa versa. As long as your photos are in a JPG, GIF or PNG format.

So any photos you have on your computer should transfer to your iPad and visa versa as long as the above applies. Also make sure that you have the app running on your iDevice when attempting to transfer and make sure you are on the same wifi network.

I hope this answers your question, please do not hesitate to ask any more questions. I'll be happy to help :)

Dear Vinventlepes,

Thanks for posting your question. I will be more then happy to assist you.

You can use the app to transfer photos and videos to your computer and any iDevice (and between iDevices) but it doesn't allow you to delete the photos off your iPhone directly. Apple does not allow apps to delete photos so you will have to do it manually from where your photos are stored in the camera roll. If your photos are stored in another album then you need to use iTunes to delete those photos/videos by sync/unsync your photos/videos.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Warm Regards,

Amber
