Dear Branyeh28,

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having issues with the app.

The issue with iPhone 4S videos is that they are in 1080p resolution and currently the iPad 1 cannot handle videos on that resolution. Our app transfers the videos in full resolution and when they are received by the iPad 1 they are rejected by the photos app.

We are working on reducing the resolution of the videos before the transfer takes place when the receiving device can't handle 1080p videos. We are waiting for apple to approve our update.

I'm sorry about this issue. Thanks for your patience. I will let you know when we publish this update.

Kind regards,
Amber

Dear JLL,

Thank you for posting your question here. I will be more then happy to help you.

Have you looked in the Photos App to see if the videos where transferred there? That is where videos are located (that are taken with the iDevice) go.

Are the videos in a .MOV format? Did you modify the videos with any software/app? How long is the video and what is the size of the video you are trying to transfer?

Make sure that you keep the app running while attempting to transfer to the PC. We have a great tutorial on our website on how to transfer from iPad to pc: http://phototransferapp.com/help/ipad...

Thanks!

Warm Regards,

Dear Rhergy,

Thank you for posting your question here, I will be more then happy to help!

As long as you have a wireless router it doesn't matter how your computer is hooked up to the wireless. Either by an ethernet cable or wireless :) As long as your iDevice and computer are connected to the same wifi network it should connect.

Also make sure you are running the latest version of our app 3.0. To check that simply open our app and tap on "about" and it should tell you what version you are running.

I hope this helps!

Dear Marshallgas,

I will be more then happy to help you. Unfortunately, at this time, it isn't possible to select an entire album to transfer.

However you can select multiple photos at once to transfer instead of having to transfer 1 photo at a time.

To select multiple photos to upload from computer to your iPad/iPhone you need to press the 'Ctrl' key on windows or the 'Apple' key on mac as you select the photos that you want to transfer from your computer. Pressing this key will allow you to select and transfer multiple photos at one time.

We have prepared an instructional videos on our website which can be found here: www.phototransferapp.com

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you continue to have problems.

Kind regards,

Amber

Hi Allison Hilburn,

Thank you for posting your question here.

The app needs to store the videos/photos temporarily while you transfer them and we save them to the camera roll. The photos/videos should clear out after they are saved to the camera roll unless there is an issue with the saving of the file which may be the case. The files are stored on the temporary directory of the app which should also be cleared out when the app is uninstalled.

Please try to delete the app and install it again to see if the space is cleared out. Another thing to try is to do a sync with iTunes to see if that helps clearing the space.

I hope this helps. Let us know how things go after re-installing the app and synching with iTunes.

Amber

Dear cgfraser,

Thanks for contacting us, I will be more then happy to help you.

You can transfer photos and videos from your iDevice to your computer and visa versa. So from your computer, you can download photos to your iPad and copy them to your Seagate however, you cannot directly copy them with your wireless seagate from our app. You need to do it from your computer.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if I can assist you further!

Dear moto4brad,

To select multiple photos to upload from computer to your iPhone you need to press the 'Ctrl' key on windows or the 'Apple' key on mac as you select the photos that you want to transfer from your computer. Pressing this key will allow you to select and transfer multiple photos at one time.

As of right now our app doesn't allow you to select 'albums' of photos to transfer but you can select the last 100 photos in your camera roll / photo albums. Another thing you can try is to sync using iTunes by selecting the photos/videos you want to remain on the device and unsync those you don't.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you continue to have problems.

Dear Paul Tousignant,

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having problems with the app. Make sure you are typing the address in the address bar of your web browser and not the search engine of your web browser like google.

I would recommend you to double check that your iPod and computer are connected to the same wifi network as sometimes the iPodmay join automatically another nearby network. Also, are you using a home wifi network or a public wifi network?

If you verified that they are in the same wifi network then you could try using the alternate address that appears on your iPod when you launch our app (the one that says for Windows computers with a few numbers). Please note that sometimes it takes couple of attempts to establish communication.

Also, please make sure that you keep the app running on your device and that you type the address exactly as it appears on the app including the 'http://' and the ':8080' parts.

Finally, you could also try resetting your wifi router to make sure that all connections get refreshed. After you reset the wifi router you need to join the network again on your iPod and try the transfer process again.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you continue having problems, if you do please send me the address that you are getting to check if it looks ok. I will be very happy to help.

Kind regards,

Amber
