Apps on iPad and iPhone crashing just before video transfer from computer completed

Hi, I'm trying to transfer videos from my computer to my iPad and I'm having problems. They all connect up ok on the same wifi network, I select the videos I want to transfer and it says it's transferring. Then just when it is about to complete the app crashes on the iPad and the video hasn't transferred. I tested it with my iPhone too and the same thing happened, the app crashed. How can I fix this?

This is Enrique, one of the developers of the app. Sorry you are having problems with the app. Can you tell me the format of the video that you are trying to upload? Also, we are aware of an issue with files that have spaces on the files name like 'video file.mov' for example. We are working on a fix for that. Please try removing spaces on the file name of your video files and see if that helps. If not then it may be related to the video format of your files, in that case please let us know where those files came from and if you can send us a sample to our support inbox that would also help us figure this out.

Hi Enrique,

The video format is an MP4 taken with a GoPro HD Camera. There are no spaces in the file names.

Not sure if it is related to the file type or size but it happens with all videos. Tested it with photos and it seems to work ok.

Any thoughts?

Interesting, do you know the resolution of the videos? If you could send us a sample video (just a few seconds) to our support email address that would be great, that way we can run some tests on our side and understand where the problem may be. Please make sure that you have the latest version of our app installed on your iPad and iPhone. The latest version is version 4.0. What is the length/size of your video? When transferring make sure that both devices are running the app and they are both on the same wifi network. You can also try closing out the app, relaunching your photos app first and then try to transfer your video by launching our app and attempting again.

Do you receive any error message? Or does the app just shut down?

I have the latest app across all devices. The videos vary in length/size for a few MB to some which are larger, around 600 MB. Both devices are running the app (well the computer and the iPad as I'm trying to transfer from the computer to the iPad) and both are on the same wifi network. I have tried closing and relaunching the app in various different ways. There is no error message - the computer shows the transfer progress and just as it looks like the transfer is complete, the app on the iPad just shuts, no error message. The computer app then says transfer complete, waiting for device.

The computer app allows me to choose a video/videos and the transfer progress is shown. The app on the iPad (and iPhone) just closes when the transfer appears to be complete.
