After transfer, cannot open .MOV files
I used the Photo Transfer App to transfer video files from my iPod Touch (4th Gen) but after transferring the files to my Windows 7 PC, I cannot open the files via QuickTime or any other software. I am recieving Error 2048 via QuickTime saying it is a file QuickTime does not understand even tho the file extension is .MOV . I need to be able to view these video files is there any way to rescue them?

Thanks for posting your question here. Please update the app on your device. The new update should fix the problem that you are experimenting on iOS5.
Let us know if you need more help after you update the app to the latest version and try the transfer process again. We will be happy to help.

Thanks for the update. Unfortunately, the files on my IPod were removed, with the recent update for iOS5, would transferring them back to the IPod help in thier recovery?
I'm sorry you are still having issues. So, you have the videos on your computer but you can't play them correct? When did you transfer them? Before updating to iOS5 or after? You can try starting the 'Photos' app before you transfer the files to your device to make sure that the Photo Library is up to date but I'm afraid that if you can't played them on your computer they wont be accepted by the device either. Did you transfer those videos with our app originally?

Enrique
That does not sound good. It is possible that the videos did not complete the download with the previous version and iOS5 and are truncated which is most likely the issue. If you could send us a sample of the video I could take a look and see if there is a way to fix them although I'm afraid it wont be possible. You can send the sample to info [at] phototransferapp [dot] com.

Try installing VLC, it's another free video player that supports multiple video formats and is compatible with Windows and Mac: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
I hope that player will help you view your videos. Regards,
