hoping for success with photo transfer--( not to be )

new app -- no can connect to transfer video & pics-- i am connected on both items ipod touch and laptop --ihave itunes on screen - just bought your app photo transfer - browser open --firefox with 4windows open --after repeated attempts -no can connect

Dear Paul Tousignant,

Thanks for contacting us. I'm sorry you are having problems with the app. Make sure you are typing the address in the address bar of your web browser and not the search engine of your web browser like google.

I would recommend you to double check that your iPod and computer are connected to the same wifi network as sometimes the iPodmay join automatically another nearby network. Also, are you using a home wifi network or a public wifi network?

If you verified that they are in the same wifi network then you could try using the alternate address that appears on your iPod when you launch our app (the one that says for Windows computers with a few numbers). Please note that sometimes it takes couple of attempts to establish communication.

Also, please make sure that you keep the app running on your device and that you type the address exactly as it appears on the app including the 'http://' and the ':8080' parts.

Finally, you could also try resetting your wifi router to make sure that all connections get refreshed. After you reset the wifi router you need to join the network again on your iPod and try the transfer process again.

firstly i did all of the above and then some ---nada change ---
I wound up installing three different programs on laptop to transfer files from ipod to laptop -- i was successfull with one only -
-today all three worked just fine -
- this photo transfer app which i had tried numerous times at this point delivered an address with a colon instead of a dot before the last 4 digits --voila -- like magic--it worked
--the best solution for me was the original copy and paste from my computer but i cannot help but get drawn in when something does not work --had to try this app
