Want to grade to 4.0 on my iMAc. Your down load site has only 2.0. My iPad was down loaded easy. Down you need 4.0 both on iPad and iMac computer?

Down load process times/cancels out at 42% while attempting to transfer movie from iPhone to Mac. HELP

I've just downloaded the app for iPad and Desktop (Mac). It's great, aside from upload and album creation from my Mac doesn't work. I'm on the same network, the iPad is discovered but it just says it's creating an album / uploading images for a long time before failing. Using the web browser upload it works superbly. Download using the desktop app works fine as well. Any ideas?

When i try to copy an album from ipad to windows pc not all pictures are copied.
This does not happen every time...

I'm trying to follow the advice in the reply to "Some photos transfer from my computer but some do not..." Transfer app is definitely installed on my iPad but doesn't show up in Settings, so l can't make the suggested adjustment.

I just transferred all my pictures from my iPhone 4 to 5. Alle the pictures are now in the reversed order.

When I go to pictures the oldest are first. If I then take a new picture it will be placed as it should - but that gives me this situation.

new to old - and then new since the transfer.
Anything to do?

if i already got the app. on my computer do i have to pay to get it on my phone also?

This is, fundamentally, a great app, BUT there are issues. I use PT primarily to quickly transfer photos from my iPhone to my ipad when traveling. Being able to use blue-tooth as an alternative to wifi was a god send on several occasions. Photo-stream via the icloud is usually too slow.

I recommended PT to a friend who is not terribly computer literate to copy photos from his imac to his ipad mini. His issues led me to set up PT on my Mac and go through the process he is trying to manage. I was successful, however I think it is fair to say that the process can be "cranky". The "discovery" process can be painless, or it can get "lost", providing no clue to the hapless user what to do next. At that point the only thing that works is closing out the program on both devices and starting over. A lot of Mac users think that because the app is not on the screen or they clicked the red button that it is closed and it is not. This is more of a problem on the iOS as a LOT of people don't know how to actually close out a program that is still in memory.

I don't know the nuts and bolts of how the wifi connection is created, but it should be more robust and less trouble to the user, or at least is easier to reconnect.

Then, in terms of how the app looks on the desktop and what to do to send pics TO the ipad, it is not so terribly intuitive what a first time user is supposed to do. Seems obvious after you do it, but not the first time. The buttons should be labeled... "Create Album on the Device". "Copy Photos TO the Device", "Copy Selected Photos FROM the Device", or something that leaves no question to a brand new user.

All this is sent in the interest in making a good app even better. Thanks for listening.

PT does not find Mac

I installed PT on both my Iphone and MAC. Both are on the same network.

I open PT on my iPhone and then when I open PT on my Mac it shows that the Iphone is the only device located.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I am trying to transfer photos from my PC to my Ipad. It keeps telling me that my quicktime is out of date. I have the latest version of it. It doesn't seem to recognize it.
